Job Description: Regional Training Consultant - full time - Enfield

We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and driven employee to become a Regional Training Consultant in one of our national regions. Supported by the Head Office Training & Development Department and Head of Administration, the successful candidate will work closely with Regional Managers and Trainers at all levels to support the training and development of new and existing employees in the Region. This exciting vacancy is an ideal opportunity for a confident and experienced people person with a proven track record in Training to further enhance their skills and support employee development.

What will you do?

•Managing the process of basic, refresher and development training of all new and existing employees
•Delivering company-wide and business-area-bespoke development programmes for employees at all levels
•Implementing and supporting Head Office (L&D) concepts as well as providing feedback and regional experience to Head Office
•Coordinating and controlling all training processes and policies
•Managing the planning, organising and delivery of Welcome Events (Inductions) to introduce employees at all levels to Lidl's history, heritage and culture
•Advising, controlling and monitoring Training Plans for new employees
•Contact with external training providers in relation to development training
•Visiting new and existing employees at their place of work to evaluate the progress of the training, for quality assurance and to acquire feedback
•Consulting with key stakeholders within the Region on key projects that have a leadership, soft skills or cultural development aspect
•Responsible for the Undergraduate and Graduate Programme within the Region

What will you need?

•Minimum of 2 years Learning & Development experience, with a sound understanding of the complete training cycle
•Demonstrated knowledge of up to date learning techniques with a proven application of usage
•Enthusiastic about delivery and the development of others
•The ability to work autonomously and as a team
•Confident at delivering training sessions and presentations to large groups
•Excellent interpersonal skills and an inventive and enthusing high impact delivery style
•The ability to encourage and motivate employees
•Strong organisational and planning skills with some project management experience
•PC literate and competent with Microsoft packages (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

•Starting from £40,000 with the ability to earn up to £52,000 (*dependent on experience)
