Job Title CAMHS Looked After Children Practitioner
Location:Children & Young People’s Service, Coventry and Warwickshire
Salary: £26,000 per annum
Hours: Full time – 37 hours (8am – 8pm service, including evenings and weekends)

Purpose of the job:
The post holder will work within the CAMHS LAC service (a service delivered in partnership between Coventry and Warwickshire Mind, Relate Coventry and Warwickshire and Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust). The post holder will be involved in the development and delivery of a range of individual and group based therapeutic interventions to looked after children/young people, carers and professionals.
Essential Criteria:
* Professional qualification and up to date registration in one of the following professions: Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Nursing, Psychology, Psychotherapy, Counselling
* A minimum of one year’s experience of working with children and young people
* A minimum of one year’s experience of working in a mental health setting
* Experience of delivering workshops/groups to children and young people
* An ability to effectively engage with children, young people and their families
* Experience of delivering services and undertaking monitoring and evaluation
* Experience of working with a wide range of agencies
* Up to date knowledge of mental health, specifically in relation to children and young people
* Good time management and organisational skills
* An ability to travel to venues across Coventry and Warwickshire
* Must have access to a vehicle as means of transport
