A Coventry based client is looking for a Contracts Governance Specialist to join their team of other like-minded individuals.

You will be assisting with the setting up and operating of a contract governance framework to ensure that the new contractual mechanisms operationalise effectively within the first 6 months of being agreed.

The Role:
* The post holder will develop and maintain a positive and productive working relationship with colleagues across the whole business.
* They will be expected to liaise and communicate with staff at all levels including Directors and Senior Management teams across contract governance, performance and compliance.
* Provide Secretariat services for the formal contract governance platforms, forward planning of their activities and agendas
* Facilitate the meetings of the contracts governance platforms by providing necessary secretariat and enabling the delivery of the agreed actions on time.
* Challenge existing processes, support the provision of an effective governance framework across the business and work with colleagues within the Business Management team to implement improvements to the governance processes.
* Support the Head of Equity Loan Administrator in developing and implementing the new contracts governance framework.

Essential:
* Degree level qualification and/or appropriate professional contract management qualifications/membership or equivalent experience.
* Highly numerate with strong experience of contract governance, performance management and 3rd party engagement.
* Experience of working within a local authority and (or) financial industry will be an advantage.
