Job Description: We are currently recruiting for a Project Co-ordinator to join our Coventry based clients' busy team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast growing Research team, the successful candidate will have day-to-day responsibility for the coordination of funding submissions, including the costing and pricing for submissions. This will include developing advice and guidance notes and briefings on funding requirements, funder application processes, and application processes for the web portal, newsletters and other media.

Responsibilities will be:

Offer support to the research community, including (but not limited to) bespoke opportunity scanning, identification of external funding opportunities, summarising reports and producing briefing papers on funding opportunities.

Coordinate a portfolio of support services offered to staff in support of their funding plans and strategies.

Act as the central point of contact for the internal bid selection and management processes; ensuring that these operate efficiently and that data is kept up to date to support the development of high quality and targeted submissions.

Organise expert funder visits to and from the organisation. Maintain and develop a programme of events and visits in collaboration with other services and stakeholders.

Provide administrative and costing support for the submission of high quality funding applications, bids and tenders. This will include checking proposals against eligibility criteria; developing comprehensive costings for proposals, ensuring all costs are considered; and using funders' online submission systems.

Manage the internal bid submission and approval processes, providing training to colleagues where required, and ensuring that data relating to bidding submissions and funding organisations is entered onto relevant databases and kept up-to-date.

Contribute to the submission process through the activities of the department ensuring that data, systems and processes relating to research funding meet the necessary requirements for the submission process.

The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level and possess a highly developed writing ability, particularly related to funding applications and reports
