Job Description: Parts Business Development Manager Motor industry/Trucks/ Trailers Lincolnshire
An exciting opportunity has become available at our cleints Lincoln Dealership for a Parts Business Development Manager/ BDM. The focus of the role will be geared towards developing new business and relationships within the commercial vehicle Parts/motor Parts/Trucks Trailers Parts industry parts delivering a fast service that will keep the business at the forefront of customers minds.
Main duties and responsibilities of a Parts Business Development Manager –
Motor industry/Trucks/ Trailers/Vans
* Achieve territory parts sales targets for trucks and trailers within guidelines for costs, profit and increase sales margins in the Parts business by diary management and calls
* Market products in parts by offering promotions and means of buying through web shop
* Build dealer relationships for long term benefit and profile raising of company brand.
* Identify prospective promotional campaigns and monitor out comes
* Liaise with both dealers and end users and the appropriate territory after sales manager to facilitate a satisfactory and prompt response to all technical queries and issues. Motor industry/Trucks/ Trailers
* Liaise with third party suppliers Motor industry/Trucks/ Trailers
* Expand the customer base by identifying new opportunities within territory.
* Attend exhibitions and shows to always represent the company with a professional image.
* Continually update your knowledge with regards to company products and keep up to date with industry developments and trends and competitors’ Parts / Motor industry/Trucks/ Trailers
* Cross-refer sales of other company products to the team as appropriate.
* Update records and the CRM and configurator system with accurate information.
* Take part in and positively contribute to sales meetings to you to promote and encourage growth of the parts business and give support to the Parts Sales Manager and Parts Sales Team.
Ideal Person skills for a Parts Business Development Manager Motor industry/Trucks/ Trailers
* Proven sales experience in the in the Motor industry/Trucks/ Trailers or similar with the ability to meet sales targets in a competitive marketplace.
* Experience of parts knowledge and after sales support.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Relationship building skills.
* Professional image and personal presentation.
* IT computer skills, including PowerPoint.
* Team player.
* Positive attitude.
* Self-motivated with personal drive and ambition.
