We are currently working with a prestigious offshore energy company based in Lowestoft who are looking to recruit a confident Sales Assistant to join their growing business.
Our client is strongly recognised in the industry and are continuing to expand their current team. They are looking for an ambitious and confident sales assistant to help develop growing subscription sales. You will be assisting the Sales Manager with day to day administrative duties. This is a vital part of the role to aid hitting and exceeding targets, and once administration duties have been fulfilled, there is potential for a more direct sales approach.
You will need to have a background in sales and administration, as well as experience in contacting businesses on the phone and face to face.
Main duties will be providing support to the sales team, recording incoming email and phone enquiries quickly and efficiently. You will be expected to have good telephone skills with a persuasive demeanour and able to use Word, Excel, Publisher efficiently. Sales and order information should be recorded accurately, whilst reporting any concerns to the relevant manager.
You will be responsible for covering the Sales Manager when on annual leave, and there is potential for a more direct sales role if the initial duties are covered.
This role is 40 hours a week Monday to Friday.
