Huxton Resourcing are currently looking for experienced, Education Support Assistants who are able to work as part of a committed and friendly team.
The successful candidate will need to have the skills and understanding to develop effective relationships with students who can be both inflexible and easily frustrated, with the aim of ensuring these students achieve their best academically.
Students who require support may have needs relating to dyslexia, autism, emotional and mental health difficulties or may exhibit challenging behaviour. They often have a lack of self-confidence, self-esteem or motivation.
The successful candidate will be required to work with students both inside and outside the classroom, sometimes on a one-to-one basis and sometimes with small groups of students.
The following are essential requirements for the post:
a good standard of general education, especially literacy and numeracy (GCSE)
experience of working with young people aged 16- 19 years (ideally in an educational setting)
good sense of humour, and the can do attitude
DBS (Criminal Records Bureau) clearance (checked for both children's and adults)

This role will commence for the remaining acadmic year, with a view to retunr in September 19
