We are currently recruiting a mobile plumber who will respond to requests from a portfolio of properties across Yorkshire. Most of the work will be based in Leeds and West Yorkshire.

Reporting to the relevant Facilities manager you will respond to requests for a property portfolio across the Yorkshire region including general maintenance and repairs to building fabric and associated equipment. You will also provide cover for Facilities Officers and Building Managers during absence and holiday periods.
The ideal candidate will be multi-skilled with a plumbing bias. They will be required to work flexibly to meet the needs of the team and take part in the out of hour's on call Rota system.
Assisting the M&E team with plumbing related projects
Responding to all assigned reactive breakdown requests, ensuring that jobs are completed within allocated service level agreements
General maintenance and repairs to building fabric and associated equipment as necessary
Liaise with, and manage external contractors as an when appropriate to meet the needs of the business
Identification and reporting/repairing of defects and maintenance requirements within properties
Be a main key holder and responding to emergency call outs as part of the on-call Rota system
The Ideal Candidate:
Plumbing qualification (time served or minimum NVQ level 2 or City & Guilds equivalent)
Have a trade background or good practical core skills together with previous maintenance experience both in, and outside of a core Plumbing trade
Have a positive and professional attitude
Be computer literate (Microsoft Office)
Hold excellent communications skills and the ability to liaise with Tenant Groups & Subcontractors
Possess good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a variety of tasks
Possess a positive approach to learning, development and progression
Have a flexible outlook towards hours worked (some out of hours working may be required)
Have working knowledge of current Health and Safety practice
Hold a Valid UK Driving license
