Administration Assistant

Administration Assistant – Tetsworth – £18K to £20K 

My client is seeking an organised, self-motivated Administration Assistant to join their small team based in Tetsworth, please note due to the rural location you will require your own transport.

You will be based in the office full time and will be expected to assist with tasks such as answering the office phone, meeting and greeting clients as they visit, making sure the office and warehouse is kept in good order. They work as a small team, so the willingness to get involved and help each other is essential. 

As an Administration Assistant your key responsibilities will include: 

  • Daily reconciliation of bank accounts on Xero;
  • Monthly bookkeeping tasks such as filing receipts with the relevant bank statements;
  • Preparing and sending invoices and credit notes; 
  • Daily log of cash-flow;
  • Chasing outstanding overdue rental returns and outstanding invoices; 
  • Processing order confirmations for rental orders, including delivery notes, return notes;
  • Opening the post;
  • Welcoming all visitors;
  • Prepare and organise the posting of marketing materials (brochures, samples, etc);
  • Assist with rental projects alongside the Office Manager. 

It is essential that you are educated to GCSE level and have previous experience in an office environment.  You will be an effective communicator, able to work efficiently in a small team and willing to learn.  Experience using accounting software such as Xero would be highly desirable. 

Salary £18K to £20K dependent on skills and experience.
