The company who specialises in the transfer of waste to energy has numerous sites all over the UK and has a new contract requirement for a CDM qualified Construction Manager to join the business based at their Nottingham site for a 5 month contract. Very competitive hourly rates being offered.
Job Purpose is to manage all construction works on an operating site
Products and services on site:
Civils, Structural, Tank Offloading, installation of equipment, pumps, pipework, electrical and instrumentation.
The Construction Manager will manage the day to day activities of works, to ensure costs and programmes are adhered to.
You will work closely with two engineers on site and the operations team, in ensuring that zero accidents are in place at all times
Daily planning of tasks with contractors will be a key feature of this role, as will working with the operations manager/team to ensure minimal disruptions as no site outages are allowed for these works
Requirement for the Construction Manager:
Qualified in Construction or Health and Safety
Both CDM and NEBOSH required
Reporting to the Senior Projects Manager on site
Experienced in medium to small plant installations
Managing contractors on site
