Job Role: Management Accountant

Location: New Milton

Hours: 35 hours per week

As Management Accountant you will contribute to our vision of being the leading residential property manager, as recognised by others by:

Preparing management accounts in an accurate and timely manner in order for senior management to report results to deadline
Managing of cash flows to ensure forecasts are adhered to
Improving processes and schedules to help facilitate the company to provide exceptional customer service.

This role reports to the Corporate Finance Manager

About You

You have experience of management accounting, and have actively prepared schedules and journals for month end, and have basic knowledge of cash flow forecasting.

Your system and MS Office is advanced and if you have used Navision before this would be an advantage.

Having an inquisitive nature, means you love problem solving and have a proactive approach to your workload.

Communication comes naturally to you and you are able to build relationships in a fast paced, ever changing environment.

Main Responsibilities

Prepare month end schedules and monthly management accounts
Reconcile bank statements and make bank payments
Understand and reconcile Intercompany balances
Assist with daily management of team
Reconcile GL accounts – understanding what is in the balances and how to identify errors.
Prepare Excel V-Lookups & pivot tables for collating data for schedules– used daily
Ability to use Excel to create fresh more efficient schedules for month end processes
Manage employee expenses
Understand payroll basics and control accounts.
Preparing prepayments and accruals and maintain relevant schedules
Maintaining a healthy correct Fixed asset register
