Receptionist

Experienced Receptionist required by our client based on the outskirts of Exeter.

Introduction/Job Overview:

Our client is a highly reputable business based on the outskirts of Exeter are seeking a Receptionist to join their team. Reporting to the Practice Manager, this is a busy role and requires the successful candidate to be able to prioritise their own workload and provide a confident and professional greeting to visitors to the office.

Responsibilities:

  • Answering the phone
  • Meeting and greeting visitors including refreshments
  • General administrative support to the office.
  • Creating and sending mailshots for corporate events
  • Managing reception area, keeping tidy and restocking refreshments
  • Keeping the boardroom tidy
  • Managing relationships with suppliers eg Royal Mail and stationery
  • Filing and shredding

Requirements:

  • Excellent professional telephone manner
  • Confident communication skills with the ability to deal with people at all levels.
  • Experience of working within a similar role in a busy office environment.
  • Good IT skills including Microsoft Office packages

Summary/Closing paragraph

The successful candidate  will be able to fulfil a variety of administrative duties that are required with this role as well as be the first point of contact for all incoming calls and general Receptionist duties.
