NPS Humber Limited is a joint venture between Norse Group and Hull City Council. We provide a wide range of services including: architecture, building and quantity surveying, mechanical, electrical and structural engineering, landscape architecture, compliance, property maintenance, asset management and land surveying, estate management, property agency, rating and valuation and consultancy services.
We are currently looking to recruit a Plumber to join our team. Your main responsibilities in this position is to carry out new plumbing installation work, plumbing and drainage fault finding/diagnosis and to carry out appropriate repairs on a variety of equipment including central heating systems and communal hot and cold water systems. You will be dealing with both Commercial and Domestic Hull City Council properties as well as private clients on behalf of NPS Humber.
Our successful candidate will have, or must be able to demonstrate the following-
Experience in the Plumbing trade
C&G or NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing.
Current site card or willing to attain one immediately.
Experience of maintaining plumbing systems across a range of properties.
Fully conversant with all material, pipes and fittings used in plumbing work.
Experience of commercial and domestic central heating/hot and cold water systems.
Familiar with COSHH regulations.
Familiar with relevant construction health and safety legislation, and risks and hazards associated with Asbestos.
Able to Interpret Plumbing schematic diagrams, reports and drawings.
Other duties may include drainage, minor plastering, carpentry and any multi skilled work to which the jobholder has experience.
The role is a permanent position where you will be contracted to work 37 hours per week.
