FEMALE Support Workers
An opportunity has arisen for Support Workers to join a new small care team working 2:1 to look after a 13-year-old girl who has significant learning and physical difficulties who is non-verbal.
She has complex needs in terms of her postural management and is fed through a gastrostomy and has epilepsy. Full training will be provided but experience of working with similar clients would be an advantage as well as working with families in their home which is a non-smoking environment.
With a love of music, attending school and spending time with her family a key role will be assisting the client to have access to more activities in the community which will include going to the park, taking her swimming and exploring sensory activities. It is therefore essential that you hold a full driving licence.
Support Worker shifts available:
With additional hours being available to cover holiday and sickness throughout the year.
