We are currently working with a prestigious family owned company based in Taunton who are looking for a part time Sales Assistant to join them on a permanent basis. This is a rare opportunity that has become available due to retirement.
You will part of a very successful and friendly business who have been going for over 70 years and have an excellent reputation locally.
The hours of work are Thursday 08:45-17:30, Friday 08:45-18:30 and Saturday 09:00-17:30, however there will need to be an element of flexibility with this as you will be required to cover holiday in the department.
The salary is £10,682.88 with 1% commission on all sales made following a 6 month probationary period. Our client is also offering an excellent benefits package including 25 days holiday plus bank holidays pro rata, 6% pension contribution, free parking on site and a fantastic staff discount scheme.
The company have 15 members of staff and are now looking for someone with a strong interest in interiors and fabrics to join a welcoming and knowledgeable team of three as part of a job share. You will be required to liaise with customers to discuss their requirements, take measurements and create quotes. You must have an keen eye for detail as you will be dealing with made to measure luxury items.
The successful candidate will have exceptional customer service skills and a helpful and personable manner.
