Are you a specialist SEN Teacher?
A vacancy has become available for an experienced, qualified SEN Teacher to join a well-resourced, supportive primary school in South London.
The school are looking to employ a SEN Teacher to support pupils with Autistic Spectrum Disorder across the school. At present, pupils are supported mainly by Teaching Assistants within the classroom. The school would now like to employ a professionally trained teacher to raise the level of support and provide parallel teaching to mainstream lessons.
This is a new role within the school and you will be working alongside the SENCo, SMT and teaching staff to develop new specialist curriculum to support a range of pupils with ASD.
This ‘Good’ primary school is situated in a diverse area of Lewisham. The established leadership team have high expectations and there is a good quality of teaching and learning across the school. The school is very inclusive and ensures there is a good supportive staff base in place to offer all pupils the best opportunities to make progress. The school is situated close to overground and mainline stations and there is free parking around the school.
