Main Pay Scale
I am working with a local school in Kent who require a carpentry teacher to deliver an accredited city & guilds course on a permanent basis.
The school has been graded as Good by OFSTED and the construction and design technology deportment is particularly good, offering pupils the opportunity to gain three, level 2 qualifications in 2 years to include site carpentry, electrical installations and painting & decorating.
To be considered you must hold a minimum of a level 2 qualification in site carpentry. If you do not hold qualified teacher status my client will happily support you through this however you salary will be as per the unqualified teacher scale (circa £25,500 per annum) once qualified you will be paid as per the main teacher pay scale (Up to circa £32,000)
Details of the vacancy are as follows:
* Teaching up to level 2 in site carpentry.
* Start ASAP.
* Full time - 8.20am - 3.10pm.
* Teachers pension.
* 13 weeks holiday.
* Free Private medical health insurance.
* Salary as per main pay scale or unqualified pay scale.
* Teacher training and reduced teaching hours for new teachers.
