Office Administrator

Role: Business Support – Permanent (3 month probation)

Hours: 37.5 hour week

Salary: Starting salary £18,500 dependant on experience

Location: Portsmouth

About the role

As a building and maintenance business we service over 4000 homes across the South Coast. Ensuring that all properties meet the required standard of living both decorative and structurally. This entails daily tasks as well as project works which all require great attention to detail to ensure all of our clients’ requirements are met. This role also links in to support the accounts department, so it is a key role within the business. Due to growth of the business we are looking to recruit a keen office administration support person to help manage the work load.

Key responsibilities

  • Dealing with incoming Invoices as and when they come in
  • Raising purchase orders
  • Cross referencing data from invoices against Aged Payables information on database
  • Uploading project documentation onto software databases
  • Dealing with incoming calls and/or booking in jobs for occupants when required
  • Accurate analysing, filing and recording confidential data and reports
  • Maintaining financial records (incoming invoices)
  • Manage project trackers and associated documentation
