Support Worker - Adult Learning Disabilities
Support Worker required in a Supported Living Service in Wokingham, Berkshire area aiding young adults with learning disabilities. You as a support worker will be working with adults between the ages of 18-65 with learning disabilities, Mental Health and Substance Misuse. The ideal support worker will have relevant experience with such individuals and have good written and spoken English.
Location: Wokingham, Berkshire

Are committed to providing quality care
NVQ/QCF Level 2 qualified and previous experience is preferred but not essential.
Have the personal use of a car, a current driving licence, (although people who have no car or driving licence may be considered if they live in a town or village area).
Support Worker Benefits:
Excellent rates of pay and allowances
Full training is available from basic training through to QCF certificated training.
£8.50 - £12.50 depending on shift type, payment type and qualifications
Responsibilities for you as the Support Worker:
Supporting service users with daily tasks whilst promoting independence
Working closely with service users, staff, families and other relevant professionals
Following service user care plans - Assisting service users to go out and enjoy social activities
Requirements for you as the Support Worker:
Experience working in a supported living environment
Experience working with learning disabilities, mental health and substance misuse.
Good written and spoken English
