An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Estate Office team at Blenheim Palace, a World Heritage Site and a stunning and unique place to work.

We are looking for an outstanding candidate who will be the “face” of our office, giving a warm, professional welcome to all our visitors.

As well as meeting and greeting our visitors you will also be responsible for a wide range of reception and administrative tasks, including;

  • Answering calls and responding to emails.
  • Booking meetings, coordinating meeting rooms, arranging couriers.
  • Sorting and distributing post and arranging deliveries and couriers.
  • Managing the visitor’s book and giving out security passes.
  • Arranging appointments and updating records on databases.

We are looking for applicants with experience gained in a customer-facing role. You will also need to have:

  • Strong IT skills – particularly Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent administrative, organisational and communication skills.
  • A helpful, flexible and hardworking approach and a ‘can do’ attitude.
  • A strong team ethos with a willingness to help.

Every member of our Blenheim team shares five core Blenheim Behaviours. They underpin everything we do and we want people to acknowledge that these behaviours are part of what makes us unique. We will tell you more about these if you join us, but in brief, they are:

  • Relish a new challenge every day – love the fact that every day at Blenheim is different.
  • Show honesty with kindness - do the right thing even when it is uncomfortable or inconvenient.
  • Share a sense of belonging - be part of something special, where you feel at home and can make a difference.
  • Keep our promises - to ourselves, our colleagues and the world outside.
  • Make history - we are guardians of this place for just a moment in time.

This is a full time, permanent position working Monday to Friday 8.45am until 5.00pm. However, we are open to applications for job sharing. Closing date 26th July 2019.

To apply please let us have a copy of your CV.

By applying for this role, your details will be sent to Ortolan People, who are acting as consultants for the hiring company.
