Our client is looking for an experienced multi-trade plumber to work on social housing projects covering the Suffolk region in Ipswich and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified plumber with additional skills in other trades such as tiling, painting and basic carpentry.
This is a mobile engineer role and will be covering domestic responsive repairs works in housing association properties.
- Min NVQ Level 2 in plumbing. Time served experience also accounted for.
- Experience of building, facilities or housing maintenance
- Full UK driving license
- Some multi-trade skills such as tiling, painting, plastering etc.
Working hours will be Monday to Friday 08:00am to 17:00pm with 30 minutes lunch.
There is an on call rota working 1 week in 4 once the role becomes permanent. (No on call for the initial 13 weeks).
The pay rate is based on a self employed basis. PAYE is available and the rate will be dependent on the preferred method of payment.
Immediate start available for the right candidate. The interview may also include a trade test to assess suitability for the role.
The role is offered on a temp-perm basis.
A van, fuel card and uniform will be issued with this role.
