Job Description: Immediate start for a Facilities Assistant at Walsgrave Hospital.

4 weeks work

The specific duties will be centred on managing planned and reactive work requests as they appear or are called into the CAFM system, managing paperwork and updating the CAFM system and providing an efficient contact route in the Service Delivery Management teams as required. However, it is important to recognise that the role is often the point of contact for clinical end users and a professional demeanor will be expected.

Raising, issuing and closing of FM job requests both reactive & planned for staff and contractors
Issuing reactive breakdown tasks in a timely manner
Ensuring all filing is up to date
Work with other service delivery teams to ensure all planned and reactive job requests are managed in accordance with agreed procedures
Ensuring ppm & breakdown tasks do not falling into failure status
Ensuring all relevant information regarding remedial works is communicated to relevant service delivery streams and end users when required

A Coventry based client is looking for a Contracts Governance Specialist to join their team of other like-minded individuals.

You will be assisting with the setting up and operating of a contract governance framework to ensure that the new contractual mechanisms operationalise effectively within the first 6 months of being agreed.

The Role:
* The post holder will develop and maintain a positive and productive working relationship with colleagues across the whole business.
* They will be expected to liaise and communicate with staff at all levels including Directors and Senior Management teams across contract governance, performance and compliance.
* Provide Secretariat services for the formal contract governance platforms, forward planning of their activities and agendas
* Facilitate the meetings of the contracts governance platforms by providing necessary secretariat and enabling the delivery of the agreed actions on time.
* Challenge existing processes, support the provision of an effective governance framework across the business and work with colleagues within the Business Management team to implement improvements to the governance processes.
* Support the Head of Equity Loan Administrator in developing and implementing the new contracts governance framework.

Essential:
* Degree level qualification and/or appropriate professional contract management qualifications/membership or equivalent experience.
* Highly numerate with strong experience of contract governance, performance management and 3rd party engagement.
* Experience of working within a local authority and (or) financial industry will be an advantage.

Coordinate a portfolio of support services offered to staff in support of their funding plans and strategies.

Act as the central point of contact for the internal bid selection and management processes; ensuring that these operate efficiently and that data is kept up to date to support the development of high quality and targeted submissions.

Organise expert funder visits to and from the organisation. Maintain and develop a programme of events and visits in collaboration with other services and stakeholders.

Provide administrative and costing support for the submission of high quality funding applications, bids and tenders. This will include checking proposals against eligibility criteria; developing comprehensive costings for proposals, ensuring all costs are considered; and using funders' online submission systems.

Manage the internal bid submission and approval processes, providing training to colleagues where required, and ensuring that data relating to bidding submissions and funding organisations is entered onto relevant databases and kept up-to-date.

Contribute to the submission process through the activities of the department ensuring that data, systems and processes relating to research funding meet the necessary requirements for the submission process.

Working close to the City Centre of Coventry working for a prestigious conference centre this role is to provide a customer focused service to visitors, tenants, delegates, external contractors & suppliers, representatives of partner organisations.

To meet and greet both Centre visitors and conference delegates.
