Job Description: Teacher of History
Full time
February 2020

I require a History teacher who is dedicated and passionate and has the desire to truly make an impact in the classroom. You must be passionate about your subject and help and encourage pupils to love it as much as you do by making it exciting and captivating.

The school I am recruiting for is a faith school and I have worked closely with the Deputy Head for several years and she trusts me to ensure I get the right teacher for the school and it's pupils. The school has a wonderful ethos and work ethic with a very calm environment in which to teach. the pupils want to learn and are eager to learn and teachers can be heard without raising their voices.

Staff just don't leave this school, they progress within their role which speaks volumes. They are valued and appreciated.

"This school has such a caring environment and the pupils really love coming to school. It feels like a real family ". This is a statement from one of my teachers who I placed there initially for casual cover and is now a permanent member of staff. Each person within the school, whether it be staff or pupil is treated as an individual.

This really is a rare diamond of schools and this opportunity is most definitely not to be missed with the opportunity to become a permanent member of staff. To be valued and appreciated is something this school can most definitely offer you.

This is a full time role so you must be willing to take on full responsibilities.

As a full time History teacher the school will want you to essentially be a permanent member of staff so the following is expected;
« Teach History at KS3 & KS4 and follow the national curriculum
« Assess, mark and plan lessons.
« Assess achievements of pupils.
« Provide progress reports and attend parent's evenings & meetings.
« Be part of the whole school community.
« Help to keep all pupils safe and make the environment a safe one.

This really is an excellent opportunity to work at one of the best schools in the area and possibly secure a full time post in September. I can offer extremely competitive rates of pay and I am available 24/7.
I am keen to talk to teachers who are interested in working this fabulous school. If this is the job for you please apply and I will be in touch.
