An exciting 1 year maternity contract has arisen within the Marketing Team of a global business. Based in the European HQ, the position will be responsible for the project management of events, supporting the VP of Marketing and working alongside the Brand Managers.

Key responsibilities will include:

Event Planning

Prior to the start of each year and on an ongoing basis, collaborate with the Brand Managers, Regional Marketing Executives, and with the Sales and Marketing teams to coordinate event requirements across EMEA.
Prepare and circulate an annual Meetings & Events Calendar.
Work with EMEA Sales to plan and manage events, advising on timings, planning requirements and preparation of objectives.Promotions/Event Management

Organise and coordinate Marketing Events within budget and given timescales in line with guidance from Marketing and Brand groups.
Assist sales and marketing teams in achieving their ROI by delivering the event requirements.Marketing/ROI Analysis

Analyse, assess and report on effectiveness of event marketing activities.
Identify best practices and provide actionable analysis and reports to shape future events and support activities.The ideal candidate will possess:

Minimum 5 years' experience in event management, ideally from an industrial/manufacturing environment.
Effective organisational and project management skills.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with Brand Managers and wider marketing team members to deliver high quality events and materials for events.
Initiative, tact, diplomacy and strong sense of confidentiality with ability to stay calm under pressure and defuse situations.

Product Support Engineer
To offer technical support, answer queries, prepare and deliver solutions to the external sales team and customers.
Be responsible for product selection, sizing and preparation of technical quotations and other associated sales documents. Investigation and preparation of costs sheets and associated technical documents for bids requiring modification to standard or bespoke products and engineered solutions.
Act as an interface between external sales teams / customers and other internal teams where necessary

To prepare technical quotations, datasheets, letters and other documents relating to the promotion of Customer requirements received direct from the prospect/customer or our External Sales Team.
Investigate costs and prepare cost sheets for modification to standard products or for bespoke products. From initial basic design (following existing formats), sourcing materials (internal system or external quotation) and final bid to client.
Respond to general and technical enquiries, to include filter cross referencing (learn competitor products), estimating and product sizing
Advise clients on product choice and introduce new products
Contribute to design ideas by consulting with the sales team and clients
Develop and maintain effective relationships with the supported accounts
To be proactive in customer communication using the CRM system
To follow up quotations and other enquiries effectively and on time, when requested
To maintain customer record cards using the system provided.
To work effectively with the External Sales and Customer Service Teams
Facilitate discussions between customers, external sales and non-customer facing internal teams in order to effectively handover received orders to the relevant departments

We are looking for an Information Assurance Practitioner to join an expanding security team within the CTO (Chief Technical Officer) office. This position will be based in the Camberley office with some travel required to Warwick and London offices. You will be working with the Network Services and Transport businesses to apply appropriate information assurance standards, whilst adhering to frameworks such as HMG SPF, NIST CSF and NCSC.

About the Role

* Interpreting and applying appropriate standards, policies and legislation, e.g. SOX, DPA, HMG SPF, NCSC IA Portfolio, ISO27001.

* Undertake gap analysis across projects and programmes using mature methodologies such as NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) CSF (Cyber Security Framework).

* Assist with the continual implementation and improvement of governance procedures within business units whilst adhering to centrals processes.

Requirements:

* Must be a NCSC certified professional – Practitioner (minimum level).

* Experience and knowledge to apply NIST, CSF, HMG SPF, ISO27001 standards and frameworks.

* ISO27001 internal auditor or other CISA an advantage.

* Experience of undertaking and leading risk assessments, risk treatment and implementing practice countermeasures for pragmatic remeditation.

* Strong knowledge and experience of IT security.

The Role

Position: Graduate SCADA Engineer

Our clients core business is in the design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of aircraft engine test facilities for both the commercial and military aircraft sectors. Projects include the provision of systems for turbojet, turboshaft, turbofan and turboprop engine types.

They are recruiting for a SCADA Engineer to work on data acquisition systems, facility and engine control systems and power distribution systems. The SCADA Engineer will be primarily responsible for assisting with the design engineering, software configuration, installation, test and commissioning of these engine test systems and equipment. The position requires an understanding of software and electrical engineering, flexibility in performing multiple tasks and close interaction with clients, project managers, and other engineering and drafting personnel.

This role would suit someone with electrical, controls and instrumentation, ICA or PLC progamming experience and an interest in data acquistions systmes. Experience of LabVIEW or National Instruments products is highly desirable.

Key Tasks:

Assist with the design and development of new data acquisition and control systems, considering existing proven designs and products, the results of engineering analysis, engineering principles, product safety and industry best practices.
To work with and understand the core items that make up the Data acquisition & Control systems. The company primarily utilises National Instruments PXI CompactDaq and CompactRIO hardware, and LabVIEW software. The company also utilizes PLCs, primarily from Beckhoff.
Configure, program and test the core devices and to document the process in accordance with company procedures.
Develop written plans and manuals for the installation, testing, commissioning, operation and sustainment of SCADA equipment.
Attend project review meetings, both on-site and off-site, as required in support of design, manufacture, supply, installation and commissioning activities.
Assist the Engineering Manager as required to prepare statements of work, purchase descriptions for subcontractors and vendors and assist as required to prepare bills of material for buy-out items.
Support the installation and commissioning of new hardware at client's location in coordination with technicians and/or client personnel.
Perform field inspections of existing client facilities and equipment in order to develop designs for new or modified products.
Interpret client requirements, identify and address design parameters and engineering problems and ensure solutions are implemented accurately and in budget.
Assist with In-Service Support contracts for calibration, maintenance, repairs, modifications and general technical support.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

Degree in software/electrical/aerospace engineering (or similar related degree)
Experience working with LabVIEW Software and PLC programming is desirable
Ability to develop, analyse and interpret technical documents and work specifications
Strong interpersonal and organisational skills and is a confident communicator in English
Ability to analyze and interpret complex technical documents and capable of applying sound judgment to all required decisions and follow company processes and procedures as they apply to the tasks at hand.
Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks and to obtain cooperation of others in submitting required documentation and reports in a complete and timely manner.
Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project.

Extended periods of overseas travel will be required to attend project meetings or engineering design reviews as well as overseeing and assisting during the site installation, testing and commissioning phase of the projects. This travel will typically be for 3-4 weeks at a time.

This position will require that the Employee be eligible for UK security clearance and therefore we can only accept applications from British Nationals. Additionally, due to the sensitive nature of the position, it will require execution of a non-disclosure and non-compete agreement.
