Main purpose of job

Organising and administering group tours, mainly in U.K and Europe.

Administrative

* To make all necessary arrangements, confirmations, payments etc with relevant suppliers such as hotels, coach companies, guides, restaurants, visitor attractions etc.

* As far as possible to ensure that accurate records are kept of all arrangements made for tours.

Operational

* Responsibility for organizing specified itineraries & tours so as to achieve the closest possible match to the clients’ requirements. The content of tours varies but may from time to time include, for example, special interests such as choral or instrumental (venues may need to be booked), literary (eg. Jane Austen), high school student tours, craft-orientated itineraries (eg. potters) etc, and art & culture.

* Where appropriate to make a creative contribution to the content of tours, based on relevant knowledge and experience

* To assist where necessary with the preparation of tour materials, written itineraries etc, and to check these for accuracy.

* On occasion, with the agreement of directors, to travel abroad on the company’s behalf

Financial

* To ensure that specified services for tours are delivered within budget in order to maximise the profitability of the tour.

* To ensure as far as possible that accurate records are kept of all costs, disbursements etc.

* To achieve the above using the company’s in-house reservations and operations system, Tourplan. (back-up and training to be provided for this)

Skills

* Good computer skills - knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel etc.

The Role

Providing assistance with other tasks of personal daily living that the service user cannot manage and providing general support as part of a caring team.
Encouraging and assisting with the management of medication, administering where necessary and monitoring health-related conditions such as dietary & fluid intake.
Helping service users with mobility difficulties, or other physical disabilities, including incontinence. This includes the use of aids and other personal equipment.To be a successful Homecare Support Worker you will have the following skills and experience:

A full UK driving license with access to a vehicle.
Love working with people and enjoy giving back to your local community.
Kind, caring and compassionate nature.
Prior experience isn't necessary but experienced carers are very welcome. Full training is provided however NVQs and Diplomas are always beneficial.As the Homecare Support Worker, you will be required to work full or part-time to complete shifts between 7am until 11pm on a rota basis.

In return, the Homecare Support Worker will receive a salary of £9.50 per hour, plus mileage is paid at 25p per mile, paid travel time in between calls at £6.50 per hour plus other excellent benefits.

On behalf of our highly successful client, a world leader in embedded digital security, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a technical aptitude and the experience of working with large corporate clients. The role is on offer for an attractive salary of between £35 - 55K pa, dependant on experience, plus excellent company benefits and will involve occasional travel within the UK or Europe.

The role is customer and product focused and will centre around client change management. Acting as a single point of contact for the client, the Project Manager will be taking responsibility for the overall project delivery, managing and planning each phase, managing tasks, people and resources from initial request through to handover. This will also involve implementing effective project controls, providing regular reports, managing test plans and ultimately deliver the project to completion. The role will also entail offering pre-sales support for new products, services and solutions and collaborate with internal teams offering support and guidance.

The perfect candidate will come with solid project management experience of at least 3-5 years, ideally, you will have been a lead project manager and you will have worked within a client facing environment involving large corporations. We'll be looking for someone with a pro-active and 'can-do' approach and the ability to problem-solve under pressure to meet hard deadlines. You will need be an effective and confident communicator, able to work well as part of a team with a results orientated approach, able to deliver against targets and objectives. A project management qualification such as Prince2, PMP or Agile would be of advantage as would be the experience of working within a secure or regulated environment.

- proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly in Excel

- Experience in the interrogation of databases, ideally using Oracle SQL, would be advantageous

- Analyses business requirements and documents the impact of potential changes on data quality processes and systems

- Updates existing or writes new business process specifications to implement agreed changes for data collection systems

- Collaborates with scrum team colleagues to ensure effective implementation of changes

- Reviews data submitted through the data collection system, according to checking procedures, to identify to higher education providers where they may be able to make data quality improvements

Wire Person

Do you have a high degree of dexterity?

A superb opportunity has arisen to join a prestigious defence company who supply high integrity and control equipment for both the aerospace and military markets.

Job Purpose

The purpose of the role will include the following:-
Locate and repair faults in wiring in accordance with agreed processes
Ensure all build documentation is completed in accordance with company policies and procedures
Provide testing and inspection in accordance with the individuals scope of approvalKey tasks:

Ability to fault find non-conforming products.
Work hand-in-hand with production engineering to ensure all wiring processes are stable and repeatable and in accordance with relevant drawings
Full understanding of the expectations and requirements of being a certified Stamp HolderAdditional requirements:

Must have an understanding of IPC/WHMA-A-620
Working knowledge of the Tyco codes of practice in wire
Electrical wiring diagrams and assembly.Due to the nature of the work all applicants will have to undergo security clearance. Previous experience in Aerospace and Defence would be advantageous.
