Lift Engineer to; service, repair a wide range of lift manufacturers in the central London area.

£42,000 + Overtime + Call-Out

Commutable: Hampstead, Brentford, Ealing, Chiswick, Hammersmith, Fulham, Clapham

Responsibilities:

Service visits with minimum callbacks - checks on gears, motors, overload detection devices, brakes, doors locks.

Minor repairs or isolating problems until further service can be carried out.

Follow lift manuals/diagrams accurately when necessary.

Adhere to quality assurance; health and safety and environmental standards

Advise the Service Manager of daily activities & advice on technical issues, outstanding works.

Lift service & repairs for passenger lifts, goods lifts on both electrical traction & hydraulic lifting equipment.

Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) - scheduled routine inspections on electrical equipment, gears, hydraulics, drive systems, motors, overload detection devices, brakes, doors and locks.

Emergency call-out - repairs or isolating problems

Candidate:

NVQ 3 or equivalent qualification

Minimum 3 years of experience

Ability to follow lift manuals diagrams accurately reading electrical diagrams

Strong electrical & mechanical understanding

Fault finding skills knowledge of various types of lift equipment

Ability to communicate clearly & concisely with a variety of people, able to work under pressure with honesty & integrity

An opportunity has arisen for a mobile Electrical Engineer to work with one of the UKs leading FM Provider on a major hard FM contract, covering 3 sites in Croydon, Acton and Covent Garden.
In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out PPM and reactive work across the contract.
Duties:
* Planned preventative maintenance and reactive works.
* Ensure PDAs are used to maximum effect in managing the close out of planned and reactive work orders.
* Pro-actively use the Maximo CAFM platform to improve operating efficiency.
* Ensure that the systems are also used to full effect to support our Customers business objectives.
Support the Facilities Manager in implementing the successful management strategy for the contract.
* Work with Subcontracts and Suppliers.
* Oversee and escort Subcontractors around site where required.
* Understand the financial requirements of the contract.
* Ensure correct commercial procedures are followed to ensure the Clients budgets requirements are adhered to.
* Support the commercial team in developing quotes/business cases for out of scope/additional works.
* Manage entry of cost information (time and materials) into Maximo.
Criteria:
* Full driving licence is required

* City and Guilds 236 Part 1 and 2

*Some experience of working in a networks and infrastructure environment would be desirable.
*Travel required, including to the NW (Manchester and Liverpool) and Central London.

My client is an independently owned maintenance contractor covering a variety of contracts in the South East. They provide, Mechanical & Electrical, Fabric, Air conditioning and Combustion, maintenance and installations to commercial & Public sector environments. The Role:

We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work on a large static site in Croydon

you will be working Monday- Friday 8am-5PM

You will be required to complete scheduled PPM and reactive maintenance tasks in maintaining site assets ensuring equipment availability. You will be responsible for performing operational checks and first line repairs of building systems. Identify then estimate repair or project works conforming to best practice and regulations, plus complete repair/project works when delegated.

You should have experience with mechanical and electrical services, fault finding and repairs to standard installations in small offices up to large commercial buildings.
This role requires you to take part in a call out rota.

We are recruiting for native Korean speakers to work as Gaming Quality Assurance Testers.

You will be joining an incredibly multilingual office of enthusiastic gamers, playing games all day to check for linguistic errors, including grammar, gender, syntax etc and reporting these bugs for correction.

Ideally you'll have experience playing on PC and/or PlayStation, particularly with RPG (Role Playing Games), or at least be happy to play those sorts of games on a daily basis.

The role is offered on an ongoing project basis, which means hours are not guaranteed - it's therefore suitable for those out of work at the moment, students, or those looking for additional employment/experience/income.

Projects will initially be for the evening shift, from 17:30 - 2:00, Monday-Fridays.

The location:

Based next to East Croydon station – direct trains from central London, including:

* London Victoria in 17 minutes via Clapham Junction;

* London Bridge in 14 minutes;

* London St Pancras via Blackfriars on City Thameslink)

And from the South, including:
