Due to continued investment, this manufacturing business at the cutting edge of technology is searching for the perfect Principal Procurement Officer to join their growing team in Barrow-in-Furness on an initial 6-month contract. This role pays £40.00 per hour.

The Role

Within the Principal Procurement Officer role, you'll be responsible for:

Completion of all delegated objectives on time
Management of outsourcing requirements
Managing customer expectations

You

To succeed within the Principal Procurement Officer role, you'll have experience in a similar position, and you'll ideally have the following skills:

A career background in Procurement is preferred however a background in Business Management, Legal, Project Management, commercial or Finance would be considered.
Experience of working within a Procurement role within Engineering design and Manufacturing
Experience in working in a Customer focused environment
