We are looking for engineers to join a rapidly expanding civils engineering company to provide traffic management services to a variety of projects undertaking a role in compliance with defined standards. Projects will include working in the public highway, performing minor maintenance to telecommunications equipment. You will work within the network asset management team to assist or repair cabinets, chambers and set up, implement and orchestrate traffic management with civils teams when required for various civils works

The successful candidate will have 1 year+ experience in the traffic management industry, a good understanding of 12D rural roads traffic lights set up, experience in setting out road closures, lane closures, 2 way & Multiphase traffic signals and have a valid M1/M2/M5 LANTRA certification.

Responsibilities include:
*To read and fully understand street works and road works code of practice (the red book)
*Have an good understanding of high speed traffic management
*Attend 2-hour safety call outs and set up Signing/lighting and Guarding
*Work with other civils teams, or alone assisting in footway and carriageway works
*To understand and undertake work in line with method statements and procedures
*To be able to understand and work all types of temporary traffic lights
*To be able to set up temporary two-way traffic light signal jobs to the red book and pink book specification

Paramedic Disability Assessor

Meridian Business Support is currently looking to recruit qualified Paramedics across the UK for exciting opportunities to become an approved qualified Disability Assessor.

As an Assessor, you will utilise your clinical knowledge and broad-based medical experience by carrying out face to face assessments and examinations on people's disabilities and illnesses in a holistic manner. Such assessments focus on how a person's health condition(s) may impact on their ability to carry out daily living tasks. The role will not require you to provide any treatment or advice. Instead, you will compile evidence together from each appointment in order to write clear and concise medical reports based on your findings.

This is a permanent position with both full and part time available. The standard working hours are Monday-Friday, 37.5hrs per week. No weekends, night shifts or bank holidays are required. A full comprehensive training and induction programme is provided for which you are paid your full time salary.
