Job Description: The company is a very well established family run air conditioning contractor that covers the home counties and a little work in the London area. They pride themselves on always putting their engineers first and this is the reason why people stay with them for a long time. Their clients always get a knowledgeable engineer on site and that way the job is always completed with minimum fuss.

They are recruiting for an air conditioning installation engineer, you will be:-

* Providing installation on commercial air conditioning equipment – Mitsubishi Electric, Daikin, also some Panasonic and Fuji

* Covering Berkshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Surrey, North Hampshire, and a little bit of London

* Working with a wide range of clients installing splits, multi splits, VRF and VRF air conditioning

Preferred Skills

* Living within travelling distance to Reading

* Experience within air conditioning installation is needed along with an F Gas cert

* Having CSCS, PASMA or IPAF would be very beneficial but not essential

Benefits

* 30-35k basic salary depending on experience

* Travel pay

* Van, phone, company credit card

* 20 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays

* Overtime available

* Having the ability to run complex projects and produce creative solutions.
* Being able to respond to respond unaided to routine queries.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required

* Bachelor of Engineering, with a minimum of 10 years' experience in a complex business engineering environment.
* Experience and knowledge of engineering & design, engineering practices and deliverables within the Process Industries.
* A minimum of 5 years' end-user experience of Engineering, Electrical, Instrumentation and P&ID products or similar products.
* Experience of specifying and delivering engineering documents, for example, Datasheets, Lists, PFDs, P&IDs, Electrical Diagrams and other schematics for engineering projects and including knowledge in engineering international standards for the specification and purchase of equipment.
* Analytical skills and knowledge of engineering data models.
* An ability to communicate product issues between customers and colleagues
* Structured and able to create, refine and execute procedures while also having the ability to think quickly and react positively to any quickly evolving or unexpected scenarios
* An ability to work well within a team by exhibiting strong interpersonal skills.
* Experience of operating within the vendor/customer relationship (i.e. pre and/or post sales environments).
* An ability to manage and handle multiple commitments simultaneously while working effectively in a dynamic team
* An ability to document and communicate in English to a very high standard.
* Comfortable to deliver presentation material to a variety of audiences
* An ability to take a proactive approach to challenges while meeting a responsibility to deliver
* Willing to travel
