A client of mine who is a leading Housing Association and Property Maintenance care company currently has a great opportunity for a Gas Supervisor to join their M&E Team in the South Region, based in their Exeter, Devon office.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Gas Engineer to take the next step up in their career.
The role is a supervisory role with a focus on supporting the Gas Manager in ensuring that the area team of Gas Engineers and contractors deliver a successful programme of annual gas safety checks and maintenance services to customers that are at all times in full accordance with service standards, values and behaviours.

You will assist the Gas Manager in the management and development of the team, ensuring that forecast labour and material resources are appropriately planned and allocated in accordance with projected workflow and agreed budgets. Experience of supervising a team would therefore be ideal.

To be successful in this role you will need excellent IT and communication skills with the ability to effectively problem solve.

You will be expected to build effective relationships with a range of colleagues and customers and display strong influencing skills to ensure you meet challenging targets and objectives.

The role also requires you to support the team with your technical knowledge therefore previous experience and a qualification in a Gas Accredited Certification Scheme (ACS) is essential.

Main Purpose of the Job
The Catchment Management team in our Exeter office is currently recruiting for an Associate to lead and expand the team. The successful candidate will be the technical lead on a range of diverse drainage modelling, flood risk, flood alleviation, drainage strategy and drainage infrastructure projects, working with Local Authorities, Water Companies and Infrastructure Clients.
Work will involve surface water drainage, SuDS, wastewater networks, urban watercourses and rivers. Many of the projects will involve integrated urban drainage modelling and working in partnership with a number of risk management authorities and utilities. You will provide technical leadership of flood strategy / management projects, be responsible for the oversight of environmental inputs, hydraulic modelling and hydrological studies.
Ideally based in our Exeter office (although other UK locations will be considered), you will possess a minimum of 10-15 years+ post qualification experience.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Project Management of assigned projects as required with good commercial awareness and financial control
* Framework / project management of strategic flooding and drainage related projects for local authorities, the EA and Water Companies
* Developing a specialist catchment / flood risk management team across the UK utilising and developing staff across both the Environment and Water sector
* Monitoring, planning and forecasting utilisation of own discipline team members and project resources
* Undertake marketing and business development role promoting the capabilities of the company to current and prospective clients liaison successfully leading to enhanced reputation and repeat work
* Ensure the technical quality of own and team’s work in accordance with good engineering practice, relevant standards, Codes of Practice, current design methods and Health & Safety legislation
* Have a good understanding of all relevant standards, Codes of Practice, Health & Safety Legislation and current design methods and provide general technical support to own discipline team members

Essential
* Degree Level Civil Engineer or Other Suitable Science Based Subject

* Experience of modelling of surface water drainage, watercourses and waste water networks, preferably using Infoworks ICM (Incl. 2D), Flood Modeller (ISIS), TUFLOW (1D-ESTRY & 2D) or MicroDrainage.
* Previous experience working within a consulting engineering organisation
* Highly effective verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong analytical, critical thinking and organisational skills
Preferred
* Masters or Higher Degree in Civil Engineering, Geography or similar degree
* Chartered CEng MICE or CWEM CIWEM
* A self-starter with the drive and skills to build relationships, identify opportunities and work collaboratively with other disciplines.
* Good commercial skills within the Water Engineering sector with a good understanding of other engineering and environmental disciplines.

Main Purpose of the Job

Reporting to the Principal Mechanical Engineer you will join an established team of Mechanical, Electrical and Process Engineers. As the Mechanical Engineer you will be expected to support multidisciplinary design schemes, assist with delivery of projects within the Water and Waste sectors as well as assist the project teams to complete scopes of work within the agreed time frame and to appropriate quality levels.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

* Act in the capacity of Mechanical Engineer on both single and multi-disciplinary projects.

* Undertake site surveys of existing mechanical infrastructure.

* Produce mechanical calculations, mechanical schedules and specifications.

* Undertake pumped system design calculations and pump selection.

* Produce hydraulic and pipework designs and P&I Diagrams

* Assist with effective management of project stakeholders (clients, contractors and other design disciplines etc).

* Implement the project requirements to fully meet the client specification in accordance with relevant standards

* Develop and maintain excellent relationships with the other Pell Frischmann discipline leads on projects.

Essential Experience

* A minimum of 3 -5 years’ experience in relevant discipline.

* Experience of outline and detailed mechanical design aspects of Water and Waste Sector.

* A good understanding of all relevant standards and Codes of Practice and Health and Safety Legislation relevant to the Water and Waste sector.

* Experience in using current design methods.

* Be a proactive team player with excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).

* Experience of design using digital engineering/BIM systems (previous experience of working on projects with a central 3D model and ideally a BIM Level 2 project).

Preferred Experience

* Experience of ATEX/DSEAR.

* Working as part of a co-located team within a Client office (as required).

Essential Qualifications

* BSc or BEng in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience (HNC/HND).

* Qualified Mechanical Engineer: IEng (or working towards membership).

Preferred Qualifications

* CAD/BIM applications and understanding of current BIM software formats

* Working towards Chartered Mechanical Engineer membership.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties will be varied, but will include:
• Uploading roles to our online recruitment system, PeopleHR
• Promoting roles externally across social media platforms (Linked in and Facebook)

PERSON SPEC SUMMARY

Spanish speaking Quality Evaluation Analyst

Basic salary £18,666- rising to £19,227 after 6 months

Exeter, Devon area

Full-Time Permanent

Kerr Recruitment is operating on behalf of our client, an international quality call analyst's organisation. Our client is looking for a Spanish speaking Quality Evaluation Analyst to join their team in Exeter.

Working hours: Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm

Responsibilities:

Analyse customer to client telephone calls and written communication
Provide feedback to policies and appropriate procedures used to enable the Client to deliver outstanding customer service
Provide accurate and actionable feedback in their service delivery and quality, according to the specifications
Ensure the evaluations are completed in a timely manner
Attend training to support your role and achieve required standards of competence
Comply with all policies and procedures
Support the Team Leader and carry out other general duties

The ideal candidate will:

Be fluent in Spanish and English
Be able to work within a high-pressure environment
Be able to multitask
Have highly effective communication skills Closing Date:15th March 2020

Gap Professional are currently recruiting for a Quality Evaluation Analyst to work in Exeter, Devon. We are seeking people fluent in Spanish.

The working hours are Full time 37.5 hours per week 9.00 - 17.30.

The annual Salary is £18,666.00 (rising to £19,227.00 after six months). Benefits include free parking and career progression along with 28 days annual leave.

Job Role:
On behalf of our Global Client, analyse Customer to Client Contact Centre telephone calls and written communication and provide accurate and actionable feedback on their service delivery and quality, according to agreed project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyse content on interaction between Customers and Client Contact Centres by evaluating the content of telephone calls and written communication in the required language
· Provide feedback on adherence to policies and appropriate procedures used to enable Client to deliver outstanding customer service
· Successfully navigate custom software applications to research appropriate resolution and input evaluation results and comments on to software systems
· Ensure all project analysis is completed in a timely manner and in accordance with the projects requirements
· On an on-going basis, use internal feedback for self-development and adhere to all agreed processes associated to the projects
· Attend all training required in support of your role and achieve required standards of competence in technical knowledge/ability to enable thorough understanding of client technology
· Ensure compliance with all up to date health and safety regulations and procedures maintaining safe working practices and conditions
· Comply with all policies and procedures and maintain the highest standards of Client and information confidentiality

Support the Production Team Leader by carrying out any additional activities/duties identified as necessary for the role.

Skills & Experience:

Experience operating in a challenging organisational environment with a requirement to balance differing priorities and demands
· Highly effective communication skills
· Interest in technology and ability to understand and resolve technical issues
· Ability to work to tight targets and deadlines
· Flexible approach to change, with a positive attitude to fluctuating workload
· Experience of being measured against performance criteria with the ability to take on board feedback for improvement
· Considerable knowledge of and ability to utilise efficiently current word processing, spreadsheet, database, e-mail and internet software
· Adequate level of spoken and written English to comprehend Client training and procedures essential

GCSE (A-C) or equivalent qualifications in English / Languages / Mathematics essential
