This role is an essential part in the DU's dispensing process. The person who holds this position is responsible for the final check/release of medicinal products prior to packing and dispatch to patient. This is an exciting and vital role within the business and candidates will be expected to:

To provide effective checking of medicinal items, checking of ancillary items and printing of delivery notes using the Navision computer system.
To provide professional input in the dispensing unit, in accordance with the GPhC code of ethics.
To resolve pharmaceutical issues that may arise within the Operations team / Central Pharmacy / Dispensing Unit.

Key Responsibilities

As the candidate is responsible for the final check/release of dispensed medication, a high

Level of accuracy and attention to detail is expected. Candidates are expected to partake in

the following:

The promotion of pharmacy advice to the business units. Support the work of Pharmacy Assistants & Technicians.
Dispensing within the regional business unit.
Checking of medicinal items prior to dispatch.
Work within the team to facilitate self and colleagues' professional development.
Use Navision to produce delivery notes for items to be dispatched.
Apply clinical/technical knowledge to problem solving.
Liaise with Operations team and Transport to ensure urgent deliveries can be made to patients at short notice.
Assist with the recording and reporting of adverse drug reactions.
Act as a mentor for new staff within the dispensing unit as required
To partake in the collation and analysis of errors across within DU
To carry out audits as required by the senior pharmacy team
Resolve delivery discrepancies and complete resolution logs as required
To ensure that all documentation is correctly filed.
Attend compulsory training sessions eg: pharmacovigilance and therapy training

Qualifications, Training & Experience

Education

GCSE English & Maths or equivalent

Pharmacy Technician qualification (NVQ Level 3)

ACT qualification

Experience

Dispensing experience in a high turnover dispensary

Experience of working in a hospital pharmacy

Working knowledge of GPhC guidelines

Skills

Competent in the use of Microsoft Word & Excel

Effective written & verbal communicator

Excellent telephone manner

Excellent attention to detail

This is a Permanent position offering a Salary of £35000 dependent on experience, plus a company vehicle and other benefits.

As our next Electrical Qualifying Supervisor you will be responsible for:

Being the main point of contact between Technical Compliance Team / NICEIC / SHE / Managers and where appropriate the client.
Carrying out Risk Assessment of all electricians and ensure that this information is attached to the monthly skills matrix which is sent to the Compliance team every month.
Verifying all electricians' inspection & testing results whether electronically or on paper in a timely manner to prevent Invoicing delays ensuring that due care and attention is maintained when verifying these results so as to prevent any potential claims for unsafe electrical issues.
Being available for any audit conducted by Compliance / SHEQ / NICEIC.

Experience with installing, servicing and maintaining electrical systems and appliances in accordance with the current Edition of The IET Wiring Regulations

Exposure to Supervising a team of electricians and apprentices ensuring that work is carried out in a safe and timely mannerEssential qualifications:

City and Guilds 2382-10/12 or 2382-20 (17th Edition of the Wiring Regulations) and the

City and Guilds 2382-15 or to have proof of having taken a TBT or an update course (subject to holding C&G2382) encompassing the 3rd amendment to BS7671:2008

The role requires the candidate to carry out Portable Appliance Testing C&G 2377. Where the role requires the applicant to maintain and service appliances they will have demonstrable experience in this field.

The ability to communicate on a one-to-one basis and produce information in a written form, including completion of all necessary work documentation. The ability to analyse given test results, ensuring accuracy.

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, the Senior Finance Analyst will be responsible for providing high quality business partnering and accurate, actionable financial analysis and insight to the team.

The individual must have the resilience to work in a pressured environment and will be relied upon to provide proactive strategic input and leadership across the Business Programme Finance team. This role would suit an individual looking to grow their potential and skill set, supporting both the flawless program execution of the existing portfolio and growing new business opportunities.

Main Duties

* Working across the Sensors UK business area’s driving all metrics (bookings, sales, profit, cash) and standardised reporting across the business

* Support the Senior Finance Manager to establish and deliver AOP (Annual Operating Plan) and five year plan targets

* Management and coordination with the Program Execution Team of Quarterly Estimate at Completion (EAC) reporting

* Working as part of the wider business team on bids and proposal’s

* Supporting new business proposals for Gate Reviews including advising on: pricing strategy, basis-of-estimate generation; foreign exchange management; risk and opportunities management; contract negotiation support

* Act as the “financial conscience” of the business and ensure Business and Financial Policy adherence

* Deputising for the Senior Finance Manager and providing control and guidance on program accounting and Mission Area reporting

* Providing financial insight to support the business risk & opportunities process (development, analysis, mitigation & review)

* Work closely with Financial Planning and Analysis, Business Programme Finance and Central Finance Services, ensuring seamless communication on financial issues

* Building a network with all Stakeholders, including US Finance Teams

* Champion best practice and look to improve systems and processes

* Support the Senior Finance Manager to develop meaningful financial analysis to support new business investment decisions and pricing

* Ad-hoc analysis and decision support

Candidate Requirements

Essential

* Qualified accountant (CIMA preferred) with proven relevant commercial experience in a similar defence or complex contracting environment

* Resilience to work in a fast-paced, changing organisation

* Commercially astute and adept at strategic planning

* Proactive, analytical and inquisitive

* Excellent communication and presentation skills

* Proven man-management experience with the enthusiasm and motivation to develop junior staff

* Current holder of or eligibility to obtain MoD Secret (SC) level security clearance

Desirable

* Experience of working with SAP, Cognos, Advanced Excel

* Experience of effective management of programmes using Earned Value Management (EVM)

* Treasury experience beneficial

Skills/Responsibilities:

General cleaning of all areas associated with the catering department [e.g. working surfaces, equipment, floors, walls, stores area etc.] whilst using the appropriate cleaning materials/chemicals/equipment for the job, wearing the specified personal protective clothing and completing cleaning schedule documentation
Work in accordance with duty rotas and work schedules.
Responsible for practicing good hygiene and health & safety within the department in accordance with current Food Safety and Health & Safety Legislation.
Ensure high standard of personal hygiene in accordance with legal requirements, policies and procedures.
Collection, removal and disposal of waste material in line with the Trust Waste Management policy/Sustainability Plan including cleanliness of waste receptacles.
Assist in other areas within the catering department as and when required to meet service needs.
Ensure the careful use of resources to reduce unnecessary waste and comply with departmental stock rotation and control policy.
To attend Food Safety Training to include Induction, CIEH Level 2 Award in Food Safety and Catering, Annual Food Hygiene Refresher Training, Trust Statutory Training and any other mandatory training as and when required.
Report all accidents/incidents and near misses.
Report all sightings of pests to the immediate Supervisor.
Wear clean and protective clothing and personal protective equipment in accordance with food safety and health & safety policies.

Customer Coordinator

Our client is a leading provider of clinical homecare with 350 nurses supporting a growing base of patients. The role of the Customer Coordinator is pivotal to ensuring home care visits are met with the correct resource and geographic location.

Duration: Temp ongoing (possibility of this being offered as permanent for the right candidate)
Pay Rate: £8.97 £17,419.15 equivalent

Weekly Hours:
37.5 hour - Monday - Friday - Rota'd with 1 in 5 Saturday - not a rolling rota, you could be on any of the below each week. Rota given 5 weeks in advance.
Early - 7am-3:30pm
Core 1- 8am - 4:30pm
Core 2 - 9:30am - 6pm
Late - 11:30am - 8pm
Saturday - 9am -1pm

Duties & Responsibilities of the Customer Coordinator:
* Contacting patients within a specific geographic region to book in home care visits
* Ensuring resource is allocated fairly and utilise temporary staff where required
* Updating booking systems
* Ensure all resourcing data is up to date, accurate, and relevant to live operational plan.
* Updating Excel spreadsheets
* Scheduler

Skills and Experience of the Customer Coordinator:
* IT literate with experience of using Microsoft Office products, Excel essential.
* Scheduling experience
* Experience of working in a busy operations office handling the day to day challenges associated with a field based service provider
* Strong ability to absorb data from a variety of sources to solve problems and ensure it is managed correctly.
* Telephony skills

The Role:

To provide efficient and effective Portering service, work in a self-motivated and professional manner at all times.

To work well with all disciplines of staff and may be required to take direction from other professional staff from time to time.

Require a courteous and helpful approach to patients, visitors and staff is essential. A sensible, safe conscious approach to work is necessary at all times as well as strict observance of the Trust's policies and procedures.

Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust, Portering department has an enviable reputation, great supportive team with a family feel. Based in the heart of the Hospitals main HQ, which has very good local transport links, situated next to Harlow Train station and the Harvey Centre, it has a large Restaurant, Waitrose and Costa Coffee. Working hours will be Monday - Sunday, Shift Patterns, with lunch breaks.

Skills/Responsibilities:

To apply for this post, you will:

Patient movement throughout the site both internally and externally by means of wheelchair, trolley or bed.
To collect deceased patients from wards in a dignified manner and ensure paperwork is completed and returned to the porter's office.
Distribution of supplies and items e.g. post, pharmaceutical items including controlled drugs, bread, milk.
Deliver clean items of Linen and collect dirty linen items
Collect from wards and deliver to pathology all pathology specimens using the correct procedures.
Deliver blood from pathology to wards and departments as required.
Clean trolleys and wheelchairs as required as per the Control of Infection policy.
Collect and deliver medical records and s-rays as required.
Answer bleeps or give instructions on the radios in a professional manner, ensure batteries are put on charge at the end of each shift.
Deliver & exchange medical gas cylinders from a central gas store to wards and departments as required and prepare cylinder for use.
Ensure all equipment used in day to day activities is cleaned and in good working order reporting defects to Supervisor / Manager.
Out of hours take any additional linen to wards as required.
All internal and external areas of the site are free from household waste by removing bins form designated areas to a central storage compound using the Electric Tug or by foot.
The waste compound must be kept clean and tidy.
Ensure all clinical waste is removed from areas on a daily basis ensuring all bins are tagged correctly.
Drive departmental vehicles on site ensuring that they are roadworthy. Report any faults to Supervisor / Manager. Clean vehicles regularly and complete daily defect sheets.
To attend all training required including annual Stat Man training.
