Job Description: Lathe Minder/Minder – Hereford £12 an hour plus, dependent on experience

A successful manufacturing company in Hereford now starting a new department to the business, to make the most of its continues development that has seen over the last four years two new small department begin and evolve as its reputation grows.

Monday to Friday ideally a 7am start – full time permanent position, hours to be confirmed upon agreement.

You will have experience of CNC machinery where you will operate the machinery, minding machines working 3 – axis lathe, 3 vertical machining centring, you will be operating new CNC equipment, there will be variety to take part in other duties.

Building from scratch this equipment will be an opportunity to manage the whole process, you will enjoy the autonomy to help be a big part of then next stage.

Ideally you will have programming knowledge and experience but it is more about the person and your attitude to take this opportunity to make it your own.

The Position

We are currently recruiting for an experienced White Goods Engineer/Gas Engineer to train as a White Goods/Domestic Appliance Engineer to work in a field based position. You will be based from your home receiving your jobs the night before via laptop. Although you will be provided with a route, you will use your knowledge of the local area to ensure you get to customers quickly an efficiently (avoiding traffic where possible). You will be working in customers homes diagnosing problems and carrying out the repair if possible, aiming for a first time fix every time using tools and equipment provided by the company, ensuring the customer is left happy with the service provided whether the appliance is repaired or not. Upon joining the company you will complete training around electrical repairs of domestic appliances and receive support from trainers and management whilst on the road.

The Candidate

To be considered for the position you must:

Hold a valid gas safe certificates (ideally CCN1 & CKR1)
Have experience/knowledge servicing/installing gas appliances.
Live locally to the Wolverhampton area.
Possess excellent customer service skills.
Hold a Full UK driving licence.

Job Description: Do you have experience in industrial sewing?

If you have basic experience and are interested in growing and enhancing your sewing skills, we are currently seeking a sewing machinist for our client based in Ledbury, Herefordshire.

The role will involve industrial sewing, sewing various items starting from basic projects progressing up to high level projects. The position will be Monday to Friday 8am-5pm with a pay rate of £8.21 per hour (whilst training). The vacancy is initially temporary but with the opportunity to become a permanent member of staff.

Our client is happy for a basic level of experience as full training will be given - The role may suit a candidate that has taken a course at college/school.

You will be required to complete a pre-screen online assessment prior to an interview being arranged to determine your level of experience/knowledge within the sewing sector.
