WAREHOUSE OPERATIVES - HEYWOOD - IMMEDIATE INTERVIEWS - ONGOING TEMP POSITIONS!!

Hours: 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday

Pay Rate: £8.21 per hour rising to £8.97 per hour after 13 weeks

The Role: You will be moving boxes containing confidential documents from and onto storage racking facilities. You will be using hand held scanners to track goods arriving and leaving the facility. Picking confidential documents will also form part of the role. Full training will be provided. Excellent numeracy and literacy skills are required.

You must be prepared to undergo a full DBS and Credit check as part of the process due to the nature of the client. This is free of charge as Meridian Business Support cover the cost.

Job Description: PROMAN are currently recruiting for experienced Production Operatives to work for our client in Heywood on weekly rotating shifts.

Our client is a leading provider of ink and coatings across the world.

They are looking to add a number of Production Operatives to their team due to continued growth and success.

Job Duties:-

Mixing different chemicals to make the ink/paint.
Weighing up chemicals to ensure they are correct.
Filling and Lidding- Filling containers with ink/paint and ensuring the lids are fitted correctly.
Quality Control- ensuring all items leaving the production area are fit for purpose.
Cleaning- General cleaning of work station and vats.
Please note successful candidates have to be physically fit due to the heavy lifting involved in the role. Candidates have to lift between 10kg and 25kg numerous times per shift.

Hours of work

Monday to Friday-

Week one-  6am-2.30pm       

Week two-  2pm-10.30pm

** Weekly rotating shifts **

Pay rate

The pay rate for the role starts at £8.29 per hour with a £0.50 shift allowance per hour- £8.79 per hour with any overtime being paid at time and a half.

After 12 weeks the shift allowance increases to £1.00 so the rate of pay increases to £9.29 per hour.

This is an initial temporary position with long term prospects. Permanent opportunities are available for the right candidates who show willingness to work, learn and good attendance.

Job Description: Staffline is recruiting for a Transport Clerk, working for one of our most prestigious client's based in Heywood.

The rates of pay are: £9.50 per hour on day shifts and £10.50 per hour on night shifts.

You will be required to work on the following shift patterns:

6AM – 2PM from Monday to Friday
2PM – 10PM from Monday to Friday
10PM – 6AM from Sunday to Thursday
Overtime paid for bank holiday working x 1.5

Your time at work

The candidate will be working in a dynamic transport environment situated in a transport office, coordinating the administration activities that will accompany the movements of products across the United Kingdom. Providing support on quality process’s, system data aspects and general data entry. The individual will ensure the fast processing of the information, perform quality audits and ensuring quality requirements are met for a number of crucial KPI parameters. This will include proactive vehicle monitoring, communicating with the terminals and contractors, discussing and improving errors – reporting back findings to management for review.

Main accountabilities to include but not be limited to:

Plan, organise and control activities related to transportation
Excellent customer service
Direct workers for loading and unloading of consignments, goods and means of transport
Respect the law on road traffic public, domestic and international traffic of goods
Coordinate team that prepares all documents and obtain all documents necessary for legal circulation on public roads
Obtain licenses for transport and execution of motor vehicle
Follow due dates for renewal of licenses, permits, etc. and reports to supervisors/managers to initiate appropriate action
Find optimal solutions for transport and communicate solutions to the clients
Assisting in the compilation of weekly transport statistics
Handle day to day queries from internal departments
