Job Description:

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

* Operating machines with a CNC controller

* Operate CNC and manual manufacturing equipment to produce acceptable product per work instructions.

* Able to adjust lathes

* Maintain quality and safety standards, in line with company policy.

* Keep records of works and times.

* Maintain equipment, supplies and a clean working environment.

* Read and interpret technical drawings to determine machine set-up and production methods.

* Use precision measurement equipment to check machined parts against drawings.

* Inspect parts for defects as part of in-process inspection; record results, adjust program or notify appropriate person of deviation when needed.

* Perform machine adjustments such as off-sets or setting tapers and basic preventative maintenance such as changing coolants, filters, etc.

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have experience in operating and maintaining a CNC machine. They will be able to read and work to engineering drawings and specifications.

Skills and Qualifications:

The candidate must be able to:

* Competently and safely operate a CNC Machine without supervision.

* Read and interpret engineering drawings.

* Competent use of precision measurement equipment such as Vernier Callipers and Micrometers .

The Position: This is a Full-Time position working from 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday.

Duties will involve packaging bespoke bakery items for the supermarkets

You will be working in a fast paced production environment, either manufacturing or packaging the items

We have selection of shifts available:

Mornings - 6am-2pm, Monday to Friday

Afternoons - 2pm-10pm Monday to Friday

Source Inspector***

Seeking a source inspector to perform part-time work in Hucknall. This is an ongoing contract for one day a week (approximately 6 hours per week for several years) 33 parts a week.

Job Description:

Perform visual and dimensional inspections on manufactured parts, assemblies, and / or sub-assemblies.
Inspector will inspect to engineering drawings, customer purchase order(s), industry standards, and specifications.
Read and interpret models, Drawings, and Parts lists. Applies attention to detail to review forms, Dwg, Production processes (Travelers), etc.
Verifies product conformance through use of inspection tools and gauges.Requirements:

Inspector must have practical experience performing in-process and final inspections on complex machined parts, assemblies, and / or sub-assemblies.
The inspections will be performed to engineering requirements.
Must have the ability to read / interpret engineering drawings and Purchase Orders (POs).
The candidate must have experience using various mechanical inspection tools, such as micrometers and calipers.
Experience performing First Article Inspections (FAIs) in accordance to the AS9102 standard and knowledge is required.
Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience performing inspections in aerospace or military / defense manufacturing with proficiency using Microsoft Word and Excel.
Candidate should be computer savvy and own a laptop for this assignment.
Dual U.S. citizenship would be a great plus

Nottingham Brain Injury and Rehabilitation Care Centre, is looking for a Head Housekeeper to join the team to ensure a high standard of upkeep is achieved and maintained. The role is full time and shifts are worked on a rota basis to include weekends.

Key Accountabilities:

* To be responsible for the supervision of all areas of housekeeping in a ‘hands-on’ capacity ensuring a high standard is achieved and maintained

* Work within budget for:

* Cleaning supplies; Uniforms Inc. Badges & Linen

* Organise COSHH training including the maintenance of the COSHH register

* Maintain standard staff rota ensuring adequate staff cover at all times

* Be responsible for conducting performance and development reviews for the Housekeeping team, identifying all training needs and implementing where relevant

* To undertake cleaning of the Unit, including service user’s areas and communal areas as designated. Wells-Brooks are recruiting for the following urgent role:

REGISTERED GENERAL NURSE (BAND 5 AND EQUIVALENT) - NIGHTS

Salary (band 5 & equiv.): £17.00 Per Hour - Nights - 36 hours per week (3 Nights)

Examples of employment tasks:

Ensure that comprehensive, individualised care plans are in place and are regularly reviewed and evaluated in accordance with the NMC guidelines and company policy;
Assist and to deal with emergencies and pre-planned treatment of patients;
Manage own work load;
Maintain ongoing assessment and review of all patients;
Monitor patient’s progress;
Administer drugs and medicines;
Apply surgical dressings and give other forms of treatment;
Plan duty rotas and organises and direct the work and training;
Advise on nursing care, disease prevention etc;
Liaises with management and senior nurses to ensure effective communication for the benefit of the patients and their families;
Plan, manage, provide and evaluate nursing care services for patients, supervise the implementation of nursing care plans.

Skills Required for the Role:

The successful applicant must:

Have obtained an NQF Level 6 (or equivalent Qualification)
Have obtained an NMC Pin as a Registered General Nurse
Have prior experience as a Nurse
Have excellent communication skills
Have good team working skills
Have the required knowledge for the job role
Have the key skills to undertake the tasks which are listed above
