Key responsibilities of a Support Assistant:

Promote independence, dignity and choice
Provide emotional and social support

The role has a particular focus on project planning, cost budgeting, technical documentation and client interface.

The ideal candidate will:

Key responsabilities include:

Assist in the preparation of detailed quotations for project related enquiries including the compilation of all relevant engineering, manufacturing and assembly/testing costs.
Responsible for creating and managing project plan, budget, contract milestones.
Responsible for reporting on project progress, cost budget and resources.
Coordination of all technical documentation which may be required for the bid submission such as drawings and operational procedures.
Participate in design/operational reviews associated with project deliverables.
Chair project kick-off meetings upon award of contract.
Prepare field survey work packs and resource.
Coordination of all technical documentation required for the project including engineering drawings, test procedures, operational procedures and risk assessments.
Attend client meetings and hazop's as required.
Ensure drawings and associated documents are received in a timely manner from engineering to meet project delivery schedule.
Ensure purchase requisitions are raised for all manufacturing and assembly components which are required for the project.
Ensure item requirement and manufacturing request forms are issued for all components associated with the project.
Ensure drawings are issued to manufacturing department in a timely manner to meet key project dates.
Write all necessary 'in house' testing procedures relative to each project undertaken.
Ensure assembly and test request forms are raised and assembly/test work pack is issued to workshop.
Coordinate visits by client or 3rd party test inspection to witness testing activities.
Lead project risk management activities.
Write operational procedures for offshore scope of supply.
Follow management of change process.
Compile mobilisation list and advise operations on deployment requirement for offshore personnel.
Assist with field deployment as required.
Ensure manufacturing record books, when required, are compiled.

We have an opportunity for a Quality Control Inspector to join the market leading provider of Portable cabins, Secure Storage Solutions, Modular buildings and associated products. The depot operation stores and prepares the units ready for hire or sale, refurbishing and modifying as required.

We are keen to hear from candidate who have quality controller / checking experience (any sector) OR construction / property maintenance experience i.e. facilities maintenance engineer, Handyman, Clerk of works, Fabricator / fitter, construction worker etc.

Key duties and responsibilities:

Inspect all units that are going on hire, prior to them leaving the depot to ensure they meet the high-quality standards in line with company policy.
Check that all work has been carried out correctly and to the correct standard and specification, ensuring that defects are corrected and documented prior to dispatch.
Carry out final inspection and complete documentation
Providing feedback in a constructive manner, educating depot staff on “what good looks like” and explaining how any defects that arise don’t meet the quality standard.
Some working and inspecting at height
Continuously improving quality and standards, root cause analysis to resolve re-occurring quality issues.
Assist in the preparation of a range of cabins prior to them going out on hire within the depot effectively.
Candidate requirements:

The ideal candidate will have experience in a Quality Inspector / Quality Controller / QA OR construction / property maintenance experience i.e. facilities maintenance engineer, Handyman, Clerk of works, Fabricator / fitter, construction worker etc.
Ideally have experience of potable cabins or construction and general maintenance skills.
Able to deal with confrontation and able to provide feedback in a constructive manner
CSCS Card holder would be an advantage
Relevant IT and administrative skills
Basic understanding of H&S

Testing and configuration of ELF (Extra Low Frequency) communication Printed Circuit Boards and embedded microcontroller control boards with multiple DC:DC converters, Solenoid drivers and DC Motor drivers.
Testing and configuration of Operator Consoles, Electrical Interference Survey Equipment and Subsea through water acoustic telemetry Systems.
Development of microcontroller embedded software (in C), for the control and operation of the Remote Tecno Plug.
Specification and management of 3rd Parties for the supply of Graphical User Interface development,
Subsea and topside control cables. Cables and connectors require to operate in Hazardous Oil and
Environments, and must be specified suitable for this duty.
Generation of Test Procedures for the verification and configuration of electronic sub-systems
Development of custom project specific solutions, which could be camera system, ROV communication interfaces.
