This established charity is seeking a Supported Living Manager to oversee 2 of their supported living services based in the Islington area of North London. The services cater for clients with learning disabilities and Autism and a key focus of the services is to engage individuals with their peers and the local community, whilst helping to tackle social exclusion and loneliness.

The Supported Living Manager will be based in Islington, North London and will work across both supported living services and will deliver first class support to clients in an independent living environment.

The Supported Living Manager in Islington, North London will work with the individuals in all aspects of their daily lives, including supporting them with the activities they enjoy and general life skills.

The Supported Living Manager will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to the support team, whilst developing and maintaining quality standards in line with the charity’s person-centred ethos. * Conducting thorough and consultative verbal assessments with people who are living with a long term health condition and/or disabilities

* Once accredited, following training you will work in the community conducting home visits as well as in the local assessment centres

* Ensuring that your part in the assessment process is positive, dignified and professional

* produce excellent written reports on the conditions presented to help the Department for Work and Pensions to make an informed decision around an individual's entitlement to the benefit
