To support that growth we have created a brand new role of Depot General Manager Designate - West. We have four sites in the West: Birmingham, Bolton, Crewe & Liverpool. As our Depot General Manager Designate, you will not have responsibility for one of these existing Depots but you will work in an area role and provide operational cover and support for these four sites.
About the Role:
Our DGM Designate is an area based role where you will provide floating support to our other DGM’s. This may include taking responsibility for a site because of annual leave, sickness or absence. When you do take on the running of a Depot, you will have responsibility for managing that site and ensuring it continues to hit its SLA’s. To ensure that you have the site understanding you will spend time at each Depot, shadowing the site DGM and working across the day and night shift so that you have a full understanding of the operation at each Depot.
Each Depot operates in a similar fashion but has differences in regards to operational challenges so you must be able to compartmentalise your experience and wear several hats.
You will workclosely with our DGM's to understand and support operational delivery.
Experience/Qualifications:

Management experience of leading and managing a team
Experience of managing operational budgets and targets
Must be able to work on own initiative in a pressurised environment to tight deadlines
PC Literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft office
An understanding of Transport regulations
Good communicator and able to liaise at all levels
Flexible approach to work to meet business requirementsResponsibilities:

Manage a team of 4 Direct Reports and a team of up to 100 indirect reports providing leadership and direction for the shift
Ensure Depot meets client SLA’s and budgetary targets
Ensure compliance with all site HSES rules and regulations

Due to continued investment, this manufacturing business at the cutting edge of technology is searching for the perfect Facilities Engineer to join their growing team in Samlesbury on a 12-month contract. This role pays £33.00 per hour.

The successful candidate will be awarded with this phenomenal opportunity to work with a true leader on some of the biggest challenges and most advanced technologies in the industry.

The Role

Within the Facilities Engineer role, you'll be responsible for:

Leading a project team through a structured, integrated and safety.
Validating business needs and determining effective and efficient investment proposals.
Compiling detailed facility specifications.

You

To succeed within the Facilities Engineer role, you'll have experience in a similar position, and you'll ideally have the following skills:

Experience leading a team.
Communication skills both spoken and written.
Experience developing and designing production systems.
