Tradewind are currently working with a primary school in Chorley to recruit a Level 3 Teaching Assistant who has experience of supporting year 6 SATs. This role will start ASAP and is full time until May 2019.

This one form entry 'Good' primary school is looking for an additional member of staff to ensure the children within year 6 have the right resources to achieve the results they deserve. This school is looking for a passionate teaching assistant to work with both small groups and children on a 1:1 basis in the run up to SAT's. The school is looking for a like minded member of staff to hit the ground running.

The school is looking for an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant has experience with SATs Booster groups to identify students learning gaps and narrow them by working with individuals and also within groups. The successful teaching assistant will be working with students within upper KS2 that are working both below and above the national curriculum to ensure all children achieve the best possible results.

The school is in Chorley and is easily accessible by both public transport and car.

Position: Bid Coordinator

Purpose:

To support the increase in bid activity and to underpin the drive to improve business winning ratio by:

* Tracking of new business opportunities, managing the bid tracker and producing status reports.

* Supporting the development and delivery of all bids, ensuring pre-qualification questionnaires and all tender documents are completed on time and to a high standard.

* Analysing bid documentation and summarising compliancy requirements in terms of documents to be submitted and the format of submissions.

* Driving stakeholder engagement, communication and management.

* Supporting the bid review process as required.

* Providing support to the solution design phase, such as process mapping and creating sample implementation/mobilisation plans.

* Managing the Bid Library to ensure that material is appropriately filed for ease and clarity of use.

* Coordinating clarification questions and ensuring the bid management file structure is managed and upheld.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

* Coordinate Bid Team Meetings including arranging meetings, ensuring attendance of required stakeholders and accurate minutes are produced.

* Coordinate all parties involved in the bid process to ensure all are aware of the level of contribution expected and deadlines to be achieved.

* Liaise with the graphics team to ensure bids are presented to a high standard and within TVS brand guidelines.

* Support the Business Development and Bid Development teams in preparing responses to new business tenders including drafting bid responses.

* Capturing workshop outputs (minutes/process mapping/systems mapping).

* Presentation of outputs in an acceptable format for team decision making and use in proposal and tender documents.

* Keeping abreast of relevant logistics industry developments.

* Work with Business Development Managers (BDM) to identify key target projects which align with Company business strategy and business competencies, to maximise opportunity of winning tenders and minimising abortive tender costs.

* Support the process in searching for leads / tenders that align to our business competencies and feed these to the BDM teams.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

* Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline (Marketing/Law/Logistics/Business/English) or experience in a Bid role

* Confident and proactive

* Attendance as requested at industry events.

* Ability to effectively communicate both written and orally across departments and at multiple levels internally

* Ability to review / critique documents and contribute to writing submissions

* Ability to work to strict deadlines

* Competence in using Microsoft Office suite and IT competent

* A relevant logistic qualification would be preferred, but not essential

* Experience of working in a Bid Management environment is beneficial

* Willing to learn and progress in dynamic organisation

* Analytical with high attention to detail

* Logical, numerate, organised, methodical

* Creative and able to think “outside the box” and provide meaningful contribute to innovative business solutions
