Good understanding of Hypervisors (Hyper-v, ESXi)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation, our client (a leading, global FMCG company with Brands such as Dove, Lipton, Persil & Vaseline!) are currently looking for an Artwork Production Specialist based at their prestigious facility in Leatherhead. This is a full-time temporary role for a period of 12 Months, working a 36.25-hour week, paying between £36,000 - £39,500 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience. Some occasional travel to Blackfriars, London may be required as part of the role.

Role Background

The primary purpose of this position is to manage the creation and approval of packaging artwork from design lock, through to commercially reproducible mechanical artwork and separations which are handed over to the printer in a timely manner. This person will be responsible for initiating and managing projects using the artwork management system, and also working within a multifunctional and sometimes multinational project team to deliver projects on time, in full.

The position must interface with internal teams (such as Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, Quality, e-Commerce) who provide master design files and pack content, and also external partners (print management agencies, design agencies, printers, etc) who deliver the work in the form of mechanical artwork, pack image albums and printed packaging. As technical experts, they will provide expertise and input into the design, artwork and print phases of the project to ensure that the right levels of approval integrity, brand quality and consistency are maintained throughout the artwork process and supplier printing process.

There is also a responsibility to manage the creation of digital pack images and hero images for various channels and touchpoints internally and externally in an ever more digital and connected world.

Key Accountabilities

Understand the artwork process, roles and responsibilities and how to fit this into the innovation project management process to deliver projects on time and in full.
Understand the Category and Brands you are working on, Brand DNA & guidelines and plans, priorities and volume per year.
Collaborate with marketing and design agencies at the design phase, providing expert guidance and technical inputs to ensure that the design is technically printable before the artwork is routed for internal approval.
Set-up and run pre-production meetings bringing together design agencies, print management agencies, printers and internal stakeholders to ensure that quality and consistency is maintained from artwork to print phase of the process
Ensure that master design files are created according to prescribed toolbox specifications and handed over to the print management agencies correctly, and that the printed artwork matches the design requirements
Work with marketing to ensure visibility on artwork cost and spend, and that the printed packaging is optimized for cost e.g. print process, number of colours etc
Take accountability for delivery of mechanical artwork and separation files to printers, proactively manage issues if/as they arise.
Create and manage projects in the internal artwork management system adhering to the defined artwork process.
Manage the delivery of digital pack images following Artwork Excellence process, to the right quality and on time.
Manage internal and external stakeholder expectations for your tasks relating to status, timings and technical expertise.
Ensure that the print management agency follows the approved rate cards and service level agreements, and that responsible procurement and payment procedures are followed, in line with company policy.
Approve colour reliable proofs on behalf of marketing to ensure that the proof meets marketing's expectations.
Sourcing of printer specifications and align them to the defined processes and ways of working.
Approve colour standards (1st press pass) if not covered by the print management agency and distribute to the relevant parties if required.
Coordinating multiple projects simultaneously; working with various cross-functional team members as well as multiple external stakeholders at the same time
Managing the external vendor's compliance within agreed lead time and quality of delivery, compliance to rate card and processes, particularly when they are not co-located in the same country
Influencing the improvement to artwork management efficiency through project management, process compliance, visibility of artwork KPI's and ways of working within the team.
Functioning as a technical expert and business partner to Marketing and other functional teams from design to artwork to print phase of the process.
This position can be responsible for several brands and categories at the same time. This may be across market clusters or countries.
The individual must also coordinate multiple external vendors, also possibly within other time zones. Candidate Requirements

I am looking for a Scientific based Sales Engineer NOT a traditional Selling role, more demonstrating and advising and following customer and distributor enquiries.

Sales Engineer to join their busy UK team. Meeting existing and potential customers and current distributors, the role will involve regular travel within the UK and occasionally overseas. The ideal candidate will have a Scientific degree (Material Science, Chemistry, Physics, Biophysics or similar) or a demonstrable experience in a relevant industry and a good understanding of Material Science.

Sales Engineer

The person should have a science background and a good understanding of the technical sales process. They must be fluent in English, both verbal and written. The position would be ideally suited to someone who has a couple of years sales/customer facing experience and is looking to develop their sales skills in a small, dynamic and high-tech environment.

Salary Package: A competitive salary is on offer with a 10% performance related bonus scheme. There is NO CAR with this role but all expenses are covered.

Role and Responsibilities

Handle sales enquiries from phone calls and email.

Generate Opportunities for each enquiry and follow-up quotations to end-users and business partners.

Qualify Opportunities and follow through to closure and ensure the CRM system is kept up to date and accurate

Provide sales forecast for their territory

Arrange and carry out customer visits in the UK to demonstrate products and equipment.

Attend trade shows and exhibitions as required by the strategic marketing plan.

Identify new markets for all company products

Generate new leads through networking

Provide training to company product Distributors – via Webex or at company offices when appropriate

Provide monthly sales reports to the Sales Manager

Liaise with the R&D and Marketing teams

Adhere to the company Quality Manual

Qualifications & Experience

Organised, self-motivated and driven individual

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Fluent English – both verbal and written

Science Degree

Proven sales experience

Good IT Skills

THE ROLE
We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Fitters with Water or Heavy Industrial industry experience to support our clients engineering operations in the Surrey area. This Mechanical Fitters (Water) is an excellent permanent role with a leading MEICA business that offers extensive development and progression and excellent benefits package.

DUTIES
These Mechanical Fitter positions will mainly but not exclusively consists of the following duties;

*Undertaking various mechanical installations projects.
*Installation of pipes, valves, pumps and potentially even some civils related work along with other related projects on both clean water and waste water projects.

YOUR BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE
The successful Mechanical Fitters will need to demonstrate the following experience.

*Recent and demonstrable experience working within a similar role, ideally within the Water (ideal) or Heavy Industrial (essential) industry
*Qualified in Mechanical Engineering
*CSCS or CCNSG card
*EUSR card (desirable)
*Confined space certification (desirable)

This is a full-time temporary role for a period of 6 months, working a 36.25 hour week. This role is paying between £22,400 and £26,000 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

Organise project meetings and organising engagements across the organisation for all of the I&A projects
Managing diary, booking meetings and engagements
Organise flow of information within the team, to global and across the organisation on all projects
Managing emails, communications and connections - coming to meetings, taking notes, issuing notes and follow up emails
Help to issue notes after meetings, monitor follow ups from various employees/ project members
Help with writing communications, launch materials, proof reading, add creative flow for launch meetings, pre-launch meetings, training communications etc.
One off: working with our studio to get new logo, launch materials set up
Creating training modules, and help organising training across the organisation
Work with 3rd party providers, manage connections, get quotes, managing SOW
Managing team budget and Raising POs
