The role of an NHS Security Guard during the coronavirus epidemic:

As with any role at present these duties are subject to change and we require all applicants to have a fluid and flexible approach if successful.

We need people to maintain a security presence at least one of the Leeds Teaching Hospital sites, LGI (LS1), St James' (LS9), Chapel Allerton (LS7), Seacroft (LS14) and Wharfedale (LS21)

You will be either patrolling areas in person or via CCTV.

You must have High standard of personal hygiene

Be able to follow strict protocols relating to infection prevention and patient confidentiality

Provide a positive customer service experience

You will need to be flexible in relation to hours, with all successful applicants working on a full-time (37.5 hour per week as a minimum), rota basis with patrols required 24/7

You will need to listen and follow out all instructions from your supervisors accurately, diligently and efficiently

Team work, hard work and being safe at all times are essential to this roll

Though efforts shall be made by the NHS to reduce the health risks to you, you shall be working in a hospital environment where coronavirus shall be prevalent - THIS IS A FRONT LINE ROLE.

Predominantly and at least primarily you will be responsible for cleaning "public areas" - corridors, lifts, staircases, entrance halls, toilets etc.

YOU MAY HOWEVER ULTIMATELY NEED TO CLEAN PATIENT AREAS

You will be cleaning all areas thoroughly, playing a key role in preventing the coronavirus spreading within the hospital

You will need to be flexible in relation to hours, with all successful applicants working 5 days out of 7 with weekend work included, as it stands hours of work shall be 8.00-16.00.

You will need to listen and follow out all instructions from your supervisors accurately, diligently and efficiently

Team work, hard work and being safe at all times are essential to this role

Helping with other clerical, administrative and reception duties as required

The Role

As Senior Structural Engineer you will be responsible for working within a team of engineers and technicians in the delivery of civil and structural engineering projects. You will be experienced in co-ordinating the delivery of structures, drainage and highways elements of projects along with the development and ongoing management of design delivery programmes. As Senior Structural Engineer you will be responsible for the analysis and design of overall building structures using Design/Analysis software, the management of CAD/Revit technicians to ensure the level of design information is included on all information. You will be a clear communicator, be client facing when needed and be able to present yourself professionally when visiting sites and attending site meetings. You will also be proficient in preparing reports and presenting at external design meetings.

The Candidate

The successful applicant for the role of Senior Structural Engineer will be degree qualified in Structural / Civil Engineering along with holding a professional qualification i.e, MIStructE / MICE / AMIStructE / AMICE or equivalent. You will be IT Literate, have the ability to communicate in a clear and concise way with colleagues and clients, develop client relationships and be capable of marketing and networking. As Senior Structural Engineer you will hold a valid driving licence and have strong interpersonal skills. Candidates shall be chartered with the Institute of Structural Engineers or approaching chartered status and looking to bring value to our business in return for further career progression. You will be well versed in computer analysis and design in all structural materials, innovative in approach, be able manage projects independently including attending meetings with contractors, architects and clients. You will have the ability to deliver projects through to completion, and work within a multi-disciplinary consultancy. Software experience in TEDDS, Tekla Structural Designer, Fastrack Portal Frame, CADS Wall Panel, P Frame and MasterSeries Retaining Wall would be desirable.

Previous conveyancing experience required. We are looking for candidates with 5 years plus experience in conveyancing.

Position: Civil Infrastructure Engineer (Permanent Position)

Salary: £30-40k

I am currently working in partnership with a large independent consultancy who are looking to expand their Civil Infrastructure design team in central Leeds. They are currently looking for a design engineer with a Civil Infrastructure background who has experience with s(phone number removed) applications. The ideal candidate will be a 'hands on' design engineer who is looking to develop quickly into a Senior role.

I am seeking a motivated Civil Engineer to work on the design of various infrastructure projects, take a leading role on schemes and develop quickly.. This role predominantly covers the Yorkshire but will occasionally include sites across the UK. The post is within the civil engineering design team which is responsible for the design of highway and drainage schemes for up to 500 plots. Experience in road (Section 38 & 278) and drainage (Section 104) design/applications is required and a working knowledge of Micro drainage, PDS and AutoCAD would be an advantage. The candidate must be eligible to live and work in the UK and will ideally have 2-3 years previous UK based consultancy experience within this field of work, or be a Technician looking to develop into an Engineer.

The suitable candidate will possess:-

- A recognised degree, or other academic qualification (certificate/diploma) in

engineering along with an additional period of experience

- A desire to progress their career by gaining a professional qualification

- Knowledge and understanding of current technical standards

- Excellent time and management skills

- Good communication skills, both written and verbal

- Commitment to continued professional development

- A full UK Driving Licence
