Job Description: REFRIGERATION COMMISSIONING ENGINEER, Competitive Salary plus weekend overtime & company vehicle

Due to growing demand and exciting new projects we are recruiting for an experienced refrigeration commissioning engineer for a successful business, with a strong client base. This will mainly involve working on refrigeration plant, water chillers and pump stations. The role will include the setup, testing, checking and fault finding of new and existing refrigeration plant and systems on new and existing food retail sites.

In addition to Food Retail, there will be opportunities to work on refrigeration systems in other related fields such as Industrial and Manufacturing. There will be opportunities to work on the very latest in refrigeration technology, specifically brand new equipment from the UK and overseas.

Requirements

Experience in working on CO2 and HFC refrigeration systems is essential.

Must have good technical knowledge and experience of working on refrigeration systems within the food retail or Food Manufacturing sectors.

A 'can do' attitude and self-motivation is crucial in this role.

Flexibility in working hours and travel requirements is needed.

The candidate must be IT literate and hold a full, clean driving licence and have excellent organisation skills.

Required Skills and Experience:

* Broad experience and proven ability in the production of civil engineering drawings and supporting information associated with S278, S38, S104 and S106 Agreements, primarily for new developments.

* Highways design ability in conjunction with a good understanding of the processes associated with the adoption of on-site works under a S38 and off-site improvement works under a S278 Agreement. Sound knowledge and understanding associated with all facets of road, earthworks and pavement design.

* Ability to prepare levels strategies for development sites incorporating relevant constraints.

* Below ground drainage design and detailing of surface and foul water networks. Experience in the creation of drainage strategies, drawings, sections and details in conjunction with a sound understanding of flood risk issues, SuDs features and ability to incorporate respective SuDs features into proposed development schemes.

* Prepare and manage technical resources including drawings, calculations, estimates and reports in accordance with industry standards (from conception through to detailed design and technical approval).

* Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Micro Drainage and the Microsoft Office suite.

* Planning and statutory approvals are an essential part of the role, so experience of the respective processes is essential.

* Strong communication skills and proven ability to multitask. Ability to clearly communicate with Clients and colleagues at all levels and manage/delegate resources to compile deliverables on time and on budget.

Job Description: Overall Purpose of the Role

* Responsible for managing technical and site infrastructure matters from planning approval through to construction and final estate adoption/closure.
* Provide best value solutions, coordinate and deliver all engineering and utility design details/information in line with planning approval, building regulations, budget and build programme requirements.

Primary Tasks / Duties of the Role

* Secure and ensure that all technical information, drawings/details, services/suppliers enquiry letters, quotations and acceptances, technical approvals/agreements (S104 & S38, etc) and on-site service connections are issued and received in accordance with all statutory and planning approval requirements in line the agreed drawings, specifications, build and sales programmes and budget requirements covering foundations, all main services, roads and sewers, drainage, earthwork plans, boundary details, street scene and technical design and health & safety requirements and plans.
* Check in association with our external legal teams all legal agreements including section agreements, deed of easements, utility provision (in conjunction with Services Engineer) etc
* Advise on and commission the appointment of external consultants (for site investigations, structural and civil services, topographical, environmental investigations and dilapidation surveys, flooding reports and transportation assessments, etc) and ensure consultants comply with the terms of their formal appointment such that that all information and reports are received, reviewed and checked, co-ordinated and distributed on time and within budget and the company procures best value design and input from Consulting Engineers.
* Develop effective interfaces and communication channels with consultants, contractors, suppliers other stakeholders, including, but not limited to: - ▪ Contracts Manager ▪ Site Manager ▪ Building Control Officers ▪ Local Authorities and statutory bodies (Highways, Environmental Health) ▪ Environmental Agencies ▪ Warranty Providers ▪ Clerk of Works
* Attend and actively participate in all pre-Start meetings, monthly site meetings and other meetings as required to review and assess progress and provide constructive and frequent feedback on project performance.
* Ensure the timely distribution of all relevant drawings and technical information to Construction, Sales and Commercial to ensure production targets and budgets are achieved in accordance with the overall build programme.
* Prepare and submit update and evaluation reports and attend and contribute to meetings as required by Construction Management, Sales, Technical and Commercial departments to ensure that engineering and architectural activities maximise the efficiency of build programmes.

We are working with a leading international law firm who are looking for Pensions Solicitor to join their pre-eminent Pensions team. You will be working in Leeds city centre at the firms modern offices in a great location.

The Role

The role is exceptionally varied and you will be dealing with a wide range of pensions matter including:

Advising Scheme Trustees of various sizes from small to large with assets in excess of £400million
Advising Employers on Pension Scheme Funding
Working closely with a number of teams inc Restructuring, Litigation, Corporate and Projects team on cross related matters.The Team

The Pensions team works out of Leeds and London. The Leeds team is small and close-knit with several Pensions Solicitors within the team being seen as leaders in their specialist field.

About You

You will be:

A Pensions Solicitor with at least 2 years and up to around 5 years PQE
Have worked at a large national, regional or boutique practice with a strong reputation in Pensions advice
Have worked in a related area such as Employment with good exposure to Pensions Law and have a passion to develop your skills and experience in this area
