For over 6 years Hays Healthcare have been the primary supplier of clinicians to the NHS ambulance service based across the North West. We are currently recruiting for a unique role which has been created to help the ambulance service manage the vast number of calls being taken because of the coronavirus outbreak. This opportunity presents a fresh challenge, ideal for paramedics and nurses wanting to broaden their clinical skills and a non-patient facing environment.

Your new company

Working with one of the biggest ambulance services in England, you will be based in the Clinical Hub at Liverpool call centre site. Operational 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We require hours covering throughout the day and night ensuring you have the flexibility to maintain a healthy work/life balance.

Your new job as a Paramedic Specialist Practitioner

You will be fully integrated into the Clinical Hub team, where you will undergo industry leading training and mentorship, whilst still enjoying the benefits of being employed on an agency basis. Your role will be to speak with patients that have called 999 but may not necessarily need an ambulance dispatch and ED admission, then using your professional clinical knowledge you will provide immediate access to clinical advice on their condition or illness, and sign post to appropriate services.

What you'll need to succeed as a Paramedic Specialist Practitioner

- The ideal candidate for this role will ideally have experience in either front line/urgent care paramedic work, A&E, urgent care, telephone triage, custody/prison, primary care or clinical work in the community

- A current HCPC registration and be willing to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week

- You must be able to complete the 1-2 days training period

The Drinks Dispense Executive / Drinks Dispense technician role:
Employed by CPM as a Drinks Dispense Executive in their growing Diageo On Trade Team you would be visiting pubs, hotels, restaurants, stadia, and major event venues in your territory. You will be planning, installing, withdrawing and maintaining Diageo permanent and temporary equipment, including their exciting and innovative draught Cocktail equipment.

Key responsibilities include: -
* Planning, installation, withdrawal, and maintenance of permanent and temporary dispense equipment, completing visits to a scheduled journey plan
* Educate and demonstrate to the outlet and staff how to deliver the perfect serve and explain the consumer proposition and track and report on product quality
* Respond to and resolve customer Emergency Calls
* Accurately manage equipment stocks and record Diageo assets in trade
* Build and maintain strong customer relationships, always striving to achieve the best customer experience
* Delivery and placement of POS material and basic merchandising when required
* Work within industry health and safety standards
* To operate in an effective, efficient and professional manner when completing all tasks and representing CPM and Diageo and
* Pro-actively generate new ideas and ways of working and be on the look-out for new distribution & visibility opportunities

* Experience of working in the On-Trade sector in a customer facing role
* Excellent interpersonal skills together with a strong customer focused approach.

Receive and make telephone calls as required. Divert calls and take messages, ensuring accuracy of detail and prompt appropriate delivery.
Enter requests for home visits onto the home visit screen,
Action repeat prescription requests
Advise patients of relevant charges for private services, and direct to the appropriate manager to accept payment and issue receipts
Enter patient information on to the computer as required.
Open up premises at the start of the day when first to arrive, and make all necessary preparations to receive patients.

Profile

You will already have experience of working within a medical GP practice, and have strong customer service skills.

You will be comfortable with your knowledge of administrative processes within a GP practice, and be looking for a long term and stable position.
