Job Description: This South London Borough is seeking a Senior Planning Enforcement Officer and a Officer Level Enforcement Planner to join their team on an initial 3 month contract.

Applicant must be able to;

Investigate a wide range of alleged unauthorised development as allocated by the planning enforcement manager, as well as investigating/monitoring development sites during construction to ensure compliance with approved plans and relevant planning conditions.
Manage your own caseload of between 40-60 cases depending on the complexity of the enforcement issues within the team. Progress these cases toward suitable remedies, including the taking of formal action if necessary depending on the severity of the breach.
Carry out site inspections to investigate and establish breaches of planning control as required, and efficiently monitor the progress of these cases until completion.
 Maintain accurate written notes and photographic evidence of site visits,  negotiating with owner/occupiers to resolve breaches of planning control. Liaising with complainants to keep them advised of progress on an investigation
Draft planning enforcement reports and planning enforcement notices, breach of condition notices, planning contravention notices, etc. as necessary and be able to defend these planning Enforcement decisions, including notices at appeal and prosecution if necessary with the support from the planning enforcement manager.
Responsibility for the service of enforcement and other statutory notices; including the personal service of notices    
Under the direction of the Enforcement Manager, assist with the supervision of the Enforcement Team by providing expert advice, support, general guidance and mentoring to other team members including deputising for the Enforcement Manager in their absence.  
The authority are ideally looking for someone with prior experience within Local Authority Planning teams.

Candidate will need a driving licence and access to a car. 

For the Senior post rate of upto £35/h and for the Office post rates of up to £27/h.

They are currently looking for an experienced Access Control Engineer to join their existing teams. The successful engineer will be responsible for repairing, installing and maintaining Access Control, Warden Call, CCTV Equipment and Communal Aerial across a variety of contracts ensuring work is completed to within correct health and safety frameworks and to the highest industry standard. 

This role will be primarily covering the London area but there may be a need to cover other contracts as required. 

Main responsibilities: 

Install, service and maintain a range of Access Control, Warden Call and CCTV systems, Intruder and Fire Alarm systems
Undertake Planned Preventative Maintenance to these systems
To ensure that all aspects of Access Control/CCTV works including test and inspections compliance checks are carried out in accordance with current British Standards
Report daily progress to supervisor/manager on the status of all works within the Department and advise in good time, problems of time-scale or resources.
Ensure all work is carried out in line with the 'Health and Safety at Work Act'
Cover out of hours call out (1 week in every 4) 
Requirements: 

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in industry
ADSA, CAMEsafe, Tynetec, Entrotec, CAI accredited (Desirable)
Have worked in installation and fault finding/repair of Access Control and CCVT systems
Strong written and communication skills
Good practical and problem-solving skills
Full UK Driving licence

£150 per day/ negotiableClassroom Teachers are currently looking for an ICT Teacher with previous experience working in pru's or alternative provisions to join an Ofsted rated 'Good' secondary alternative provision in Central London.

A school with a keen attitude in the development of the whole person within a supportive, secure and creative environment.

You will:

Be teaching smaller classes of students.

The set out of the teaching would be 2 days a week teaching KS3 and 3 days a week teaching KS4 (Monday-Friday)

Assist with the management of student behaviour to ensure a constructive working environment.

Responding to students about the work that has been set.

Mark work, give appropriate feedback and maintain records of pupils' progress and development.

Be supported with a team of highly qualified teaching assistants.

Select and use a range of different learning resources and equipment to motivate and encourage students.

Candidate requirements:

You must have previous experience working in this sort of environment.

You will need an enhanced DBS, this can be process through us and will cost a fee of £40 that the government charge – we add no extra administration fee.

A QTS is essential and experience teaching ICT.

You must be passionate about education, and possess a positive and engaging demeanour.

We pay £150 for a successful recommendation of a qualified teacher (with QTS) or £50 for a successful recommendation of any experienced education workers. Payment will be made after the worker has worked a FULL 20 days through Classroom Teachers.
