Job Description: Conrad Consulting have a new vacancy available for an Interior Designer with excellent REVIT skills to join a busy design studio on an full-time, permanent basis

This highly respected studio have established a fantastic reputation in Manchester and such have started to take on more work than they had done in previous years. They are entering one of their busiest periods since their inception and have recently been appointed to a large, significant framework that will positively influence their workload for the coming years.

Typically, projects you will encounter here will be within the Commercial and Education sectors. This will include office schemes and projects within both schools and universities.

Ideally applicants will either be from a purely Interior design background or potentially more of a technical background, both will be considered. What is important is that applicants have excellent spatial awareness, a keen eye for detail and to meet most (if not all) of the following criteria:

Minimum 1 years practical experience working in either an Interior Design or Interior Technical role (UK-based preferred).
Practical REVIT experience is essential. Preferably you will be able to assist with it's wider implementation within the company.
Previous experience having worked on projects within the Education or Commercial sector.

A large main contractor is currently looking for an experienced MEP Commissioning Manager to work on a large new build data centre construction project in Sweden acting as the overall Commissioning Lead. This is an opportunity to work for a multinational company who offer construction solutions across a range of key sectors including Data Centres, Healthcare, Life Sciences and Technology.

Responsibilities of the MEP Commissioning Lead

The Senior MEP Commissioning Manager will be expected to cover:

The setup, management of and closing out of the Commissioning plan for the project.
Management of direct reports (commissioning and testing personnel on site).
Management of the Commissioning Tagging process and procedures.
Reporting Progress on all Commissioning activities both internally and externally.
Chairing weekly commissioning meetings and directing weekly commissioning activities.
Attending the Main Contractor and clients weekly commissioning meetings and reporting out weekly progress.
Development of the Project commissioning schedule in conjunction with the project planners.
Responsible for the Compilation of all Testing and Commissioning Documentation including verifying and signing off on all results.
Familiarity with and management of Project Commissioning Schedule in conjunction with other trades, Package Leads, consulting Engineer and Client requirements.
Ensuring that all testing and commissioning manpower is tracked on the site Labour allocation Tracker sheets and issued daily.
Management of all day to day on site commissioning operations.
Management of sub-contractor activities including tracking progress against schedule and manpower levels.
Attendance at Site Meetings, Internal Project Reviews, Engineering Reviews, Planning and Co-ordination Meetings and Handover Meetings.
Close out of all project items including O & M Manuals, Punch List, Safety File, QA File, - all with the support of the Electrical package manager.
Implement a weekly look ahead ensuring co-ordination with vendors and trades.
Issue internal weekly progress report.
All other duties associated with this role.Required skill set of the MEP Commissioning Lead

The MEP Commissioning Manager will have:

Proven background in Commissioning Management.
Background in MEP, ideally Electrical bias however any bias within MEP will be considered with relevant working experience.
Large scale project experience (data centres, pharmaceutical, laboratories, heavy industrial, etc.)
Degree qualified or equivalent is ideal but not essential.

We are currently looking for a developer with extensive experience using React.JS / JavaScript / HTML5 & CSS3 commercially to come and join us.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

You will be working with other Front End Developers in the team and collaborating closely with the back end team, playing an integral role in designing and developing new features for our industry leading platform. We are looking for an individual with a good amount of experience to the software industry and experience with React.JS / JavaScript / HTML5 & CSS3.. This is an excellent opportunity to be share ideas and be creative within a technical team and drive forward new ideas which you come up with. You will have the freedom to take ownership of projects, seeing them from initial concept through to completion.
