Job Description: Leading Global Exhibition, Events & Display Graphics business seeks a multiskilled and hands Studio Manager to lead their evolving Artworking & Production teams, alongside driving their advanced technical workflow capability.

Working across the UK & Europe with major Global Brands, their Warwickshire based Print & Installation management operation is undergoing significant strategic expansion and we seek an experienced, talented & ambitious individual to drive their Artworking & Production environment.

With proven team leadership & a strong working knowledge of Creative, Pre Press, & Workflow Automation software, this is both a strategic and a hands on role, requiring an individual with a strong eye for process, workflows & accuracy, in order to develop their all round Production capability.

Managing the small Artworking & Large Format Production team, you will be responsible for allocating workloads and managing the Client requirements, whilst interfacing with the diverse Project management & Installations teams, in understanding & managing both the structured & impromptu demands associated with servicing the Exhibitions/Events arena.

This new role will also be responsible for mapping & delivering the enhanced Worklow Automation infrastructure, so ESKO automation experience would be very valuable in delivering the longer term evolution of their infrastructure & process workflow platforms.

You must have a demonstrable track record of experience, responsibility & impact, ideally within the large format digital printing / exhibition & displays industry, but critically, with proven experience & aptitude in driving a small but diverse Studio artworking & Print production department, along with the evolved communication capability that will engage Clients & internal peers alike.

Duties of the Print and Mailroom Operative role are detailed below;

Records management - filing/ prepping mail
Using software and hardware to print materials
Using guillotines to cut printed items to size and to a full-bleed (no border around content), laminating materials, binding books and presentations
Wire binding
Stock monitoring of consumables for the machinery and paper for replenishment
Produce mail merges on Microsoft Word
Liaise with clients via telephone and email, follow through any with queries in a responsive and efficient manner
Providing print quotes by gaining the client requirements
Manual handling of stock and storage of stock
Process and reproduce a wide range of different content such as simple letter printing, through to name badges, presentation binders, posters, business cards and more.
Communicate positively and professionally with customers
Problem-solving
Actively support and follow the client's environmental, quality and security policies
Advising and identifying the best method of production and cost savings
Work to deadlines in conformance with client agreements
Foster a constructive team working environment and "one team" ethos
Working individually and as part of a team to achieve results
Encourage a positive, courteous and productive working environment
Manual handling of stock up to 25kg's
Working with ladders and comfortable with this
