In partnership with our client we are currently recruiting several Qualified Nurses and Paramedics who are interested in providing clinical support within a number of contact centres supporting the current COVID-19 crisis.

We need to ensure that there is 24/7 coverage and therefore we can offer full time, part time and flexible hours.

What does the role consist of?

As a qualified nurse or paramedic you would be responsible for providing help and support to all call centre agents around general queries and any clinical aspects whilst the agent is conducting a full telephone assessment with an individual.

Sales and Marketing Assistant – Coventry

An opportunity has arisen for a Sales and Marketing Assistant in the Sales team at ALS Environmental in Coventry, West Midlands.

Reporting to the ALS Environmental Sales Support Manager the role is to provide high quality administrative support to the ALS Environmental Sales Team. Duties will include all activities associated with achieving sales targets, including revenue generation, marketing, and customer account management. This is a busy role requiring the role holder to be able to work under pressure and have the ability to prioritise their time effectively.

About the Position

Hours per Week: 37

Days per Week: Monday to Friday

Basis: Permanent and Full Time

Annual Salary: £17,000 - £20,000 (depending on experience)

Key accountabilities about the Position:

* Maintenance of Sales function back office

* Booking sales meetings, co-ordinate client meetings

* Handling incoming calls

* Follow up of sales calls with customers in a timely manner

Logistics Technician – Coventry (Tuesday to Saturday)

An opportunity has arisen for a Logistics Technician in the Logistics team at ALS Environmental in Coventry, West Midlands.

As a Logistics Technician you will be completing a range of tasks within the Logistics department to enable the effective and efficient receipt & registration of samples into the business.

About the Position

Hours Per Week: 37

Days Per Week: Tuesday to Saturday (06:30 – 14:30)

Basis: Full-time and Permanent

Annual Salary: £16,777 (April 2020 start date)

Closing Date: 19th March 2020

Key accountabilities about the Position:

* To ensure that registration of samples is carried out as soon as possible after receipt to comply with sample stability times

* To pack sample containers for distribution to customer via couriers

* To carry out filtration of waste water samples

* To rotate sample bottles and dispose of bottles after analysis

* To comply with the requirements of ISO 17025 & the Company quality system.

* Ad hoc duties as required to ensure that the business directives are met

To be successful in this role you will require the following Competencies:

* Must be able to work accurately

* Good communication skills

Skills and Experience

* 3 GCSEs including English and Maths desirable

* IT skills including knowledge of Excel, Outlook and the ability to use in house software after training

Analyst 2 - Organics – Coventry

An opportunity has arisen for the role of an Analyst 2 at ALS Environmental in Coventry, West Midlands.

As an Analyst 2 you will be completing, to the required quality standards, the analysis of samples using GC-FID, GC-MS, GC-MSMS, HPLC and IC.

About the Position

Hours Per Week: 37

Days Per Week: Wednesday to Sunday (08:00 – 16:00)

Basis: Fixed Term (until April 2021) and Fulltime

Annual Salary: £16,500 (March 2020 start date) plus 10% shift allowance

Closing Date: 18th March 2020

Key Accountabilities will include

* Work completed in compliance with quality management system

* Work completed to allocated deadlines

* Adhere to Health and Safety and Company policies and procedures

* Maintain daily service delivery to Company KPI’s

* Investigate and report on non-conforming work

* Train colleagues to required standard

* Work with other team members to ensure efficient flow of samples

* Maintenance of own training record

About you

To be successful in this role you will require the following Competencies:

* Good communication skills

* Ability to deliver instructional training

* Problem solving skills

* Basic IT skills

* Work effectively in a team

* Ability to plan and organise own work area

* Attention to detail and the ability to keep accurate records

* Customer focused

Skills and Experience

* 5 GCSE’s at Grade C or above to include Science, Maths and English

* A level or equivalent in scientific subject

* Preferably experience working with GC and/or LC
