Job Description: Service Engineer

My client is a well established and successful clean room and airflow products company delivering certification, validation, maintenance and breakdown services. The client base is a wide range of pharmaceutical, biological, academic, medical and food industries in the UK and Republic of Ireland.
Due to continued growth and success of the business they have a requirement for a Field Engineer. This is to meet the customer demand created by an excellent reputation and technical excellence.

The Field Engineer will report to the Service Manager and will receive scheduling direction from the Scheduling Manager on either a weekly or daily basis depending on job duration.
The duties of a Field Engineer include but are not limited to:
o Delivering all services for the servicing, validation and certification of air flow cabinets, fume cupboards, safety cabinets, clean rooms and other facilities
o Delivering emergency and planned fumigation services to safety cabinets and containment facilities
o Dealing with customer related documentation, permit to work, attendance records and site reports
o Responding to customer equipment breakdowns

The successful candidate will:

Are you a LEV service engineer who is BOHS P601 qualified? LEV systems, fume cupboards, safety cabinets, P601, Cat III or Cleanrooms?
o Demonstrate a clear understanding of and a track record in all relevent engineering services relating to the above
o If not proficient in those services, then be able to demonstrate a track record in the delivery of other technical engineering services in the field
o Have a strong "can do" service ethos
