Job Description:

The purpose of the role is to provide efficient and effective caretaking support. This includes, but is not limited to, ensuring the security and general appearance of the buildings and surrounding areas are maintained in accordance with the required standards.

The Maintenance Operative will be expected to observe safe working practices in carrying out the required duties and ensure that instructions specified by technical consultants, contractors and manufacturers are adhered to.

Duties:

To assist the Facilities Coordinators and wider facilities team in ensuring offices are operational, safe, fit for purpose and comfortable for staff and visitors
Painting and Decorating - as required
Joinery- First line maintenance of fixtures and fittings, examples: tightening screws on window hinges, maintenance on doors, minor repairs as a temporary measure after break-ins, vandalism etc
Plumbing- un-blocking sinks, traps and waste pipes. Adjustment and re-washering of taps, isolation, and repair where possible, of leaking pipes, temperature readings and flushing regimes where required
Report emergencies in the case of faults with gas, electric and water supply
Adhere to and enforce security guidelines & permit system, training and inducting contractors where required (hot works, manual handling, working at height)
Comply with the requirements of Health and Safety, other relevant legislation and company policies

It would be great to see candidates with:

Ability to communicate effectively, both internally and externally
Basic knowledge of H&S regulations and requirements
Plumbing, carpentry, decorating and electrical knowledge
A CSCS card
A Health & Safety qualification
Experience of office churns/relocations
Professional trade qualification

Business Unit Coordinator Responsibilities

Business Development Tasks

Targeting and Qualifying New Opportunities
Daily reviews of potential tender opportunities through alerts received and scanning of Contracts Finder and TED daily
Carry out research into potential prospects and update Business Development targets matrix
Develop Bid No Bid document for each tender opportunity and send to BUD and BDM for discussion and approval to proceed
Registration of interest with agreed targets as ratified by the BDM and BUD
Acting as the first point of contact for all "cold" enquiries to the BUD, BDM and SMT
Collating and Developing Best Practice

Development of best practice information sharing across BU and broader business
Collation and recording of sector specific data for development of best practice in PQQ responses
Continuous improvement, creation of case studies quarterly for tender submissions
Bid Writing

Researching Tender content
Preparation of Tender documentation both SSQ, ITT and open proposal
Working in conjunction with the BDM to produce quality Tender and Marketing documentation
Presentation and Sales Collateral Activities

Preparation of documentation – Business Unit presentations in PowerPoint and sales collateral
Ensuring sufficient supply of sales collateral for events including but not limited to related stationery and promotional material.
Closing

Support with mobilisations and develop relevant tools/methodology
Managing regular sales reporting/dynamics (pipeline upkeep)
Support with client account renewals and rebids (proactive input in advance of contract anniversaries)
Business Unit Director Tasks

Organising of the BUD's diary to help prevent clashes
Organisation of Business Unit events including quarterly meetings for SMT, Contract Managers and social events

Preparing and issuing predefined reports

* Able to communicate clearly and effectively with all types of people both verbally and in writing

As an HGV/GSE Technician you will be responsible for undertaking repairs and maintenance of vehicles both on and off airport to the required standard whilst adhering to corporate Health and Safety guidelines, ISO 9001 framework and guidelines on vehicle maintenance.

Main duties and responsibilities for then role are as follows:

▪ Repair vehicles and plants as requested by the Workshop Supervisor;

▪ Carry out inspections, brake and smoke tests and show all defects to the Workshop Supervisor before commencing with any repairs or booking out any parts

▪ Diagnose and inform the Workshop Supervisor of all work and parts required before commencing job;

▪ Job card/inspection sheet must be completed correctly to current point of repair and handed to the Workshop Supervisor at the end of each day's shift. All non-productive time is also to be added to the correct job card for authorisation by the Workshop Supervisor;

▪ Update the Workshop Supervisor of any further work or parts required immediately;

▪ Present job cards at stores to enable parts to be supplied;

▪ Inform the Workshop Supervisor of any VOR parts immediately;

▪ All booked parts used from workshop must on the front of job cards and all parts taken out of hours must be written on parts sheet as confirmation;

▪ Label parts and put them onto correct shelves, e.g. warranty or exchange unit;

▪ Inform the Workshop Supervisor immediately upon job completion;

▪ Quarantine, label and report all defective tooling immediately to the site Workshop Supervisor;

▪ Report any defective items immediately to the Workshop Supervisor;

▪ Accurately complete and hand in manual daily time sheet after each day of shift

In order for fulfil this role you should hold relevant qualification including Motor Mechanics – LGV and ideally LGV 2 and forklift. You should have a background in operational vehicle logistics, experience of working in a customer focused environment and in the vehicle maintenance sector. You will also need sound motor mechanics skills, be analytical and numerate with good communication skills, have an understanding of GSE procedures and systems and a good general knowledge of health and safety regulations

As part of this role will entail working airside at Heathrow, you will need to confirm the following:

The role of the CDM Consultant:

As the successful CDM Consultant will directly support the CDM Manager providing CDM Consultancy services to a wide and varied client base.

Attending design team and project team CDM meetings.
Developing sign risk management schedules and minimising design risks.
Liaising with contractors maintaining full communication through duration of project.
Undertake Health and Safety Inspections on site and understand constriction phase risk.
Be involved in the occupational health and safety for the practice.The Successful CDM Consultant:

The successful CDM Consultant should hold the NEBOSH General and Construction Certificate and have experience working within the regulations of CDM15.

Chartered Health and Safety Practitioner (or working towards)
IMaps/NEBOSH General and Construction Certificate.
Hold professional membership with IOSH, IIRSM and the APS.
Excellent planning, organisational, training, teamwork and presentation skills
Diligent and pro active individual with the ability to prioritise and act on own initiative.The Package:

Basic Salary of £40,000 – £50,000 per annum

Job Description: We are looking for HGV 1 Vacuum Tanker Drivers for our customer based in Irthlingborough.

Monday to Friday work available. Weekend overtime is a possibility.

Days are on average of 12 – 14 hours.

Tanker work will be delivering to various sites including farms, festivals etc.

Driver will need to have previous Vacuum tanker experience with waste liquid tankers. Including sucking liquid from pits.

For insurance purposes candidates will need to have a minimum of 2 years on their licence and no more than 6 points.

£14.50 per hour
