Avanti are working with a company based near Henley looking to add a developer to the team.

Salary: Up to £50k

Due to the coronavirus outbreak all interviews will be conducted remotely and initially work will be 100% remote. Plans are in place to allow this, and these positions are available to be filled now.

The team is full of technical developers who know their way around .Net and Angular and React. They are always looking into modern technologies to explore and experiment with what works best. They have just started an 18 month training course on the practical applications of machine learning so anyone who joins will get the chance to explore this too, along with the main technologies

One of the tech leads used to work for Microsoft and he has been with the company for 6 years now and still loves it, which shows there is a focus on modern tech and keeping developers happy. Two of the developers who have moved on in recent years have gone on to Facebook and JustEat, who both have a high calibre of technical team. Working with this team is great for your career.

The company are successful and while they have focused on providing and building software and services for other companies, they are making the switch soon to focus more on their own products rather than collaborations.

The tech is C# and Angular/React and loads of Azure. The core of the team’s work is based around moving corporate companies over the cloud, which often involves rewriting code from scratch. The company are on the Microsoft Insider track so often get to play about with tech when it is Beta released.

Generally developers are hired more for their attitude and willingness to learn than specific experience so even if you don’t have C# you may be considered. Apply now for more information
