* Develop trusted relationships with key accounts, stakeholders and senior management team

* Maintain accurate and up to date budgets, ensure events are delivered within agreed budget. Regular reporting with Finance Manager

* Event planning, design and production while managing all project delivery elements within time limits

* Attending meetings with senior management and present project positioning

* Direct manager for event team

* Liaising with marketing to promote the event/develop event communications

* Compile a detailed post-event reconciliation

* Management of project health and safety and sustainability plans

* Competent to project lead across various events across the Sportsworld portfolio; including tour operating internationally and hospitality delivery

Requirements of the role

* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Sports Event Management at management level

* Previous experience in managing tour operating programmes internationally and in the UK

* Successfully track record of delivering exceptional hospitality and events in the sporting sector

* The ideal candidate will have experience in planning, implementing and delivering sponsor programmes at major sporting events

* Ability to multi-task and work on several different projects

* Advanced Microsoft skills; primarily excel

* Detailed reporting; attention to detail

* Good time management and priority setting
