Job Description: Cleaner (20 hours)

£9.30 up to £9.60 per hour * (pro rata). Part time hours are between 10 - 30 hours. Full time hours are between 31 - 40 hours.

For our cleaners, every sweep of the brush is a step towards perfecting the customer experience. Working a couple of hours per day, usually in the mornings, you'll make sure that the store is clean, tidy and safe to move around, both on and off the shop floor. There's a lot to do, but if you're someone who likes to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in, this could be the role for you.

What you'll do

•Maintain a clean and tidy store, focusing on customer-facing areas
•Maintain the outside cleanliness and tidiness of the store e.g. trolley bays and the car park
•Clean the warehouse area including the waste and recycling sections
•Operate industrial cleaning machinery
•Carry out minor maintenance tasks and report any major requirements to your manager
•Ensuring hygiene and health and safety standards are applied for customers and employees

•Previous cleaning or maintenance experience is beneficial but not essential

We need savvy, commercial, business managers to lead and direct a group of Lidl stores to join our team.

To be an Area Manager at Lidl, you'll need to have the perfect blend of commercial and practical. Running a group of 4 to 6 Lidl stores and being responsible for up to 200 employees takes strategic leadership. But stepping in when one of your Store Managers is struggling and spending time to coach them on how to lead a successful store, takes a love of hands-on hard work and a practical approach. You'll be able to lead and motivate your teams because you'll learn exactly what it takes to do each of their roles - your training will mean working as a Customer Assistant and in Store Management. Then you'll take on an area of stores and be responsible for taking the business strategy and making it work in your stores, ensuring they hit their targets and that the teams continue to grow and develop.

Role Description

* Ensure that product test and repairs are completed to a high level of workmanship.

* Ensure that product test and repairs are technically compliant with project specifications.

* Ensure that product test and repairs adhere to relevant quality and safety standards (eg. BS EN 60950).

* Achieve the highest levels of performance in terms of speed of work, quality and meeting deadlines.

* Oversee customer Factory Acceptance Tests, liaising with clients in a polite and professional manner.

* Make active contribution to Continuous Improvement initiatives, challenging product design, build and test processes and information workflow.

* Provide technical support to other areas of the business as required.

* Undertake additional working hours as required to ensure the Product Division output is achieved.

* Provide training and mentoring to junior members of the test department to develop skills and capability.

* Carry out equipment calibration, PAT testing and maintenance work on test equipment as required.

* Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with company health and safety procedures.

* Provide support to operations within the battery test area of the business as required.

* Provide support to the repairs section of the business as required.

Our client based in the Scarborough area is a current market leader. They have gone through a period of change recently and are now looking for a Sales and Marketing Account Manager to join their busy and dynamic team initially on an interim contract, however there is a possibility of the role becoming permanent if the business continues to grow for the right person.

That’s why we are looking for someone who is extremely driven and passionate with exceptional customer service skills. Someone who is able to listen to their customers, build rapport and maintain these accounts as well as being able to look at new and inventive ways of getting new business on board.

Working in a fast paced environment, there will also be a lot of administration that needs to be completed for each client efficiently, so we are looking for someone who is extremely organised and self-motivated with strong computer skills and a willingness to learn something new.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to earn up to £35,000 + OTE (based on an excellent basic salary of £20,0000 - £25,000 plus bonus) as well as a company car, laptop and mobile phone as part of the package. The working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30 - 5.00.

You will then liaise effectively with insurance companies to obtain their authority to repair the vehicle at the costs estimated. You will also effectively liaise with customers engineers and technicians to explain and ensure they understand the repair methodology.

You will report into the General Manager who is as passionate about Customers as he is about his team and is absolutely determined to make his bodyshop the best in group. It’s an amazing team!

What you will be doing?

Our Bodyshop is fast paced and exciting with lots of opportunity to make an incredible difference and apply your expertise and skill. In the job of Vehicle Damage Assessor you will be responsible for assessing many different marques of vehicle. This means keeping up-to-date with all repair methodologies and it is also important for you as a Vehicle Damage Assessor to fully understand different insurers and manufacturers literature and bulletins. Another very important aspect of the job is teamwork as you will be working with other colleagues in the bodyshop as well as across other functional areas.

With a professional appearance we would also appreciate it if you have excellent job knowledge and be highly motivated. Naturally, due to the nature of the job you will need to have a full UK/EU Driving Licence and the relevant qualifications for the job (ATA, NVQ Level 3, or City and Guilds as well as experience in the accident repair environment).
